I won't accept the silence on this breathtakingly beautiful track.

Just listened for the first time, and hearing the first few notes, I was already blown away. It's so pure, fragile, humble, beautiful.. it easily could've been on Ray of Light or Music or AL.

Perfect closing song

Her best closing song together with Secret Garden and Gone. One of her most beautiful songs also. Reminds me of L'au Delà by Vanessa Paradis.

Wistful, lovely closing track. One of my favorite C2 songs.

Wonder who that Brando-looking guy that got away is.

Love at first listen!

Such a precious, tender and warming late night song.

When I was in my early 20s I was dating this guy. We had a VERY late night and woke up the next morning and he was smoking in bed and playing me his records. He introduced me to the Velvet Underground, 'Sunday Morning'. This really soothing but druggy lullaby that was like a 'morning after comedown' with a kiss at the same time. LES Girl totally channels that. Lou Reed appears to have inspired quite a few moments on the album and this is the most direct inspiration. A total curveball that makes complete sense and just shows us she's got so many personal stories in her we have yet to hear. And her gorgeous gorgeous voice. Beautiful.

I think this might be my favorite on the album. She's never sounded so tender, so vulnerable. Reminded me a little of Xtatic Process.

After so much energy this song was a shock for me, I need a couple of listens, but it is very well-done and tender. I liked the transition with the cars a la "Westend Girls" 😉

I'd welcome more of this sound from Madonna 😍 so tender and wistful. Reminds me of Saint Etienne and Air

„Everything fades away“ … as the last words of the album. (maybe last words of her discography??)

Yes. Sounds like she's confessing directly in our ear.

Sublime track.

Ending with the guitar juste like Like it or Not...

Another great closing tracks in her discography. The song opens a window onto a snapshot of her youth in New York, with an evocative power reminiscent of Lou Reed's work.

It feels a bit unsettling to be honest. I love how fragile and vulnerable she is here, but after a whole album full of tracks confronting all her “unfinished” business - with her daughter, her stepmom, her brother, all the haters and people, after all the dynamic and intense journey it feels like a closing. It might be one of her most tragic love songs. After a life full with friends and crowded dance floors she’s on her own, lonely, longing for love and someone to hold her.

This!
What a beautiful, beautiful song (and odd way to close a dance album)
