bard Posted July 2 Posted July 2 this is a very cool, experimental track. curious about its origins though, since there seems to be a long list of songwriters i've never heard of before. i'm assuming it might have been a demo that madonna and price reworked... peter Posted July 2 Posted July 2 Stuart talked about it on the Tik Tok broadcast. Started as another song, then morphed into the lyrical idea it is now, and then the production changed to suit that. He mentioned a name — something with Triangle in it, I think? So you may be right about a demo, but it may just be a situation like Good Life or French Kiss, where there is another song that formed the foundation, and that song’s composers might be credited…? Sanctuary1995 Posted July 2 Posted July 2 I’ll be dancing to it I am sure in one of Amsterdam’s dirty dance clubs Quote
DreamTheater Posted July 2 Posted July 2 I have a feeling that this is the track that certain pop and flop princesses will be green with envy for. Quote

The pop, plop en flop princesses are already thinking of the ways to recreate this mood in their own reductive way Quote

Stuart mentioned Triangle Park as the producers of the track it samples. They are credited as producers. He also said that the vocals are all Madonna, with reverb and slow down effects. Quote
toujours Posted July 3 Posted July 3 Teacher M with tweaked vocals: School is in session! The cadence and beat are Hard Candy-esque. Quote
Candyperfumeboy Posted July 3 Posted July 3 (edited) This one is FILTHY. A standout for me. I can’t believe it’s one of the least popular tracks from what I’ve read. Edited July 3 by Candyperfumeboy Quote
ULIZOS Posted July 3 Posted July 3 I was completely caught off guard. This sounds fucking AWESOME blasting on my headphones Quote

Rain Posted July 3 Posted July 3 The way she sings "I would give you my cut"... I want it in my veins Quote
vertigokane Posted July 3 Posted July 3 Would you say this one is most similar to the vibe of Erotica or Bedtime Stories? I know it sounds like a continuation of one of those albums. Quote
domyeyebrows Posted July 3 Posted July 3 There's something about the rhythm of the spoken word stuff that is so familiar to me. I can't think what it reminds me of. Quote
Fitho Posted July 3 Posted July 3 Come on people, I cannot be the only who loves the "I'd Rather Be Your Lover" reference. One of my favorites on the album Quote
DeMo Posted July 3 Posted July 3 My first reaction to hearing this song is that it’s so weird in all of the best ways possible. Quote
Rain Posted July 3 Posted July 3 Sounds like Pabllo Vittar on even more steroïds with some distant K-Pop influences. It's AMAZING Quote
sydneydude Posted July 3 Posted July 3 One of the standouts for me too. Can't stop listening to it. Quote
