Cerise Posted July 2 Posted July 2 This album is INSANE. These lyrics and diversity in all the tracks! I don’t remember last time when someone made me want to dance that much. No other pop star will ever come close and they need to understand it once and for all, they can keep trying with their Halloween albums. Personally, my perfect track list would not include the heaviest points (or rather I would put them on second, separate disc for a deluxe edition) - Fragile, Betrayal, the Test and L.E.S. Girl. Fragile only because it’s extremely sad, deep and so traumatic that it removes all the ecstasy built on all the previous tracks. The Test lyrically seems a bit too obvious lyrically which surprised me, and L.E.S. Girl - I feel like there’s so much tragedy, regret and longing in this track for some reason. That’s also new, I’ve never heard this love story before. I would add Hot Sauce just after Read My Lips. First 10 tracks are just brilliant, intense, inspiring, pure magic and craziness. I can’t believe she’s SO inspired and innovative that far in her career, she just delivered one of her best albums. And her music feels so fresh and exciting in comparison to everyone else in the current pop world. I can’t really put into words how much I appreciate and admire how vibrant, powerful and intense she is on this album! She has more energy and fire inside of her than most of my friends who are in their 30s. That woman really is changing lives and I will be forever grateful for her. Quote

That seemingly out of place afterthought that actually strikes different and creates weird circle. Just here it's even more fitting cause it immediately strikes that morning walk home after a huge club night, I can imagine myself eating a pizza slice in the only place that was open sitting homeless style on the street having simple thought that suddenly feel like deep philosophy - this is the soundtrack to that moment. Just perfect yeah, i like LES Girl a lot and i think it works like you said as a "morning after" or "come down" song like "where do i begin" on the chemical brothers' Dig Your Own Hole album. i just think it might have worked even better if it were slightly more electronic. but i do like it. Alain Delon Posted July 2 Posted July 2 I listened to the 90-second snippets on Apple Music and it sounds VERY promising. I'm really looking forward to School. The only one I didn't really feel is Fragile, but that will probably change when I hear the whole thing. Quote

Nikki Posted July 2 Posted July 2 L.E.S. girl reminds me of some of the songs and vibe from Swept away for some reason. It's so humble and beautiful. It makes me cry. Is it just me? Quote
strepentijger Posted July 2 Posted July 2 I am shocked I think this album is as good as Ray of Light! I can not sleep. She blow me away!!! Quote
Nikki Posted July 2 Posted July 2 The whole album is fantastic.. except for Love Sensation (I really, really hate this song, Im sorry ) It's too Kylie and even Cher (woman's world) for me and I can't stand the vocals. I think it's a bit of a love letter to Akeem, which is cute and the only redemption it has for me, as it means it's a personal song, but I really don't like the feel of it Quote
redhot Posted July 2 Posted July 2 Just floored over how good it is... masterpiece I was already in tears by the second song So much emotions right now. The Test is so beautiful. DanceteriaLove without words, My sins are my saviour, School, Bizarre all bangers. Still love love Love sensation The first 3 tracks, what an opening Epic. Pleasantly surprised by Read my lips, love the guitar. It's an assault on the senses, hard to process it all. Quote

He called it a love anthem. He was also posting pics of sunsets when it first came out. M watching the sunset or Sunrise at the beach. In the lyrics she says..when we go walking... sunlights all around you. Always felt she was referring to Akeem. Quote

Same, for those reasons. she also sings something about his smile.. he does have a very beautiful smile. I feel corny saying this, but it does fit him to a t Quote
