Okay I'm obsessed with this song again after the video. The mix has that extra bass that just elevates it to the next level. It's taken a few months to really hook me but I think this is her best song since 2005.

I still like Love Sensation more to be honest, but the video definitely helps the feel of the song, for me at least.

It would be nice to have a hit, but I'm happy with what we are getting. I assume the album will be top 3, maybe even no. 1. It's certainly not impossible..

It's not a given.. Rebel Heart was #2.. Ray of Light was #2.. Confessions 1 was almost not #1 because Carrie Underwood was right on Madonna's tail. I remember we had to wait until the last second to know COADF was really at the top.. we used to have projections and they all said different things in different moments. This is 20 years later and Madonna is older. Do I really have to explain..

Not to mention, Madonna is introducing the album in a new way. It's risky..

I still think this was the best single from Hung Up. The song has won over a huge audience. Here in Italy, it's even a radio hit. My 3-year-old daughter sings and dances to it. My son only listens to Popular and a few SickSick remixes. So, reaching a large audience in 2026 is truly an excellent achievement.

I agree - #1 is defo not in the bag. I'd love her to have the US and UK #1s with the album and that would be an amazing achievement. But if she narrowly misses because she's competing against younger artists at the height of their commercial powers, that's not really a reflection on her legacy. Her place in pop history was established long ago. If someone had told us in 1985 that Madonna would still be releasing major albums and competing on charts in 2026, most of us would have considered that almost impossible. The fact that we're discussing her chances against artists who are decades younger is, in itself, a sign of how extraordinary her career has been.
