Je5u5 Posted June 9 Posted June 9 So lots of comments about the lasers everywhere but not so much about the song itself and it's a shame because what we've heard so far sounds fantastic don't you think? Can't wait to see how this works in full and coming after "I Feel So Free". Quote
Geiger83 Posted June 9 Posted June 9 I was not prepared for this song and its visuals. It sounds absolutely haunting Quote
peter Posted June 9 Posted June 9 Will be interesting to see if she makes the proverb more direct in the lyrics at any point … when I first heard the title, I assumed it was about “confession” (i.e., that is, “Confession is good for the soul”). Seems like maybe the theme is broader than that (which isn’t bad at all — lots of things can be good for the soul, after all). I just thought, given the album title and the song title … (Then again, I don’t think it would be good for confess/confession to be overused, either. She already included it in BYL, too, so … We’ll see!) Quote
YannBouch Posted June 9 Posted June 9 For me the most confession 1 song so far. I LOVE it. I feels it’s going to be one of my fav from her entire catalogue Quote
peter Posted June 9 Posted June 9 Lyrically, some of it recalls Impressive Instant to me, a little bit … the cosmic scope of some of it, the intertwining imagery … Seems like it covers different ground and goes a different direction — just shares some lyrical imagery, I think. Quote
Lolo Posted June 9 Posted June 9 The chorus is not on par with the great verses part. I hold my final verdict until we get the full song. Judging from how the song started it felt more like an experimental, edgier effort. The chorus feels a bit basic though. Quote

The same sensation I have when I listen to Incredibile of HC. Quote
Musicinferno Posted June 9 Posted June 9 Good For The Soul is fantastic, especially the chorus! Quote

runa Posted June 9 Posted June 9 I agree that this is the one that sounds most like COADF. I like it. Quote
Nikki Posted June 9 Posted June 9 Very Forbidden love/like it or not! So good! One of my favs! Hope I love the full version Quote
Gabriel Ciccone Posted June 9 Posted June 9 Very trance! I was hoping Madonna would do something more trance-oriented. One of my favorites, I want to hear full Quote
Michael. Posted June 10 Posted June 10 I love this one! I think it’s my favorite out of all the new tracks in the film. The bass sounds so good and the chorus is catching! Can’t wait to hear the whole thing!! Quote
Beastialg Posted June 10 Posted June 10 Everything begins with consciousness Traveling through space and time Interstellar helix unwind Don't forsake or the love will die Don't forget your love, alright On the spiral light, we fly We will be one, we will be divine All the spirits, they all intertwine Don't forget that That it's good for the soul To let down your hair and breathe in the air Good for the soul It's up to the sky, a thousand birds fly Good for the soul The ones that you love will keep you alive Good for the soul Catch us dancing in the rain, no need to explain Quote
Mozo1 Posted June 10 Posted June 10 This blew me away but like some others, gonna wait for the album before making up the mind, Twenty-four days. Quote

Her raw voice, the instrumentation, the darkness, the nasty chorus. It’s the perfect follow-up to the album’s IFSF introduction!!! It’s the type of a song that I overplay, it’s the type of a song that I look for! Quote

I was analyzing the lyrics and it reminded me of the interview with Jay Shetty. "Everything begins with consciousness". She said about manifestation the counsciousness and how our society now living in algorithms/artificial inteligence and how this was opposite of being consciousness and they can't duplicate consciousness We found the "algo-rythms" song Quote
