It's incredible sad to see so much negativity, not because some people do not like the song (which is perfectly understandable) but because they worry about the FIFA half time show, the promo strategy and whatnot. It almost feels that some care more about the FIFA show than the album itself. Get a grip and wake up, this show is not as big as you think it is. And it's certainly no platform to push new music. Even the Superbowl halftime show is never used to showcase new releases. Get a grip and get it out of your system. Quote

Hopefully that means the album mix will have more interesting elements. Reading the lyrics though, I don’t really get big sporting events vibes from the song lol. It's a great song, but many people here have a hate bias against latin music and whats really popular right now. I get it's not as musically connected as the others songs so far released, but this is the FIFA version. Will wait for the Confessions version before passing final judgement. And people calling it generic, I'll say it is as generic as Bring Your Love and Love Sensation. Also similar to Spanish Lesson or I'm Going Banana, etc. should check their ears. This song is way better both in lyrics and production. Quote

Personally I like it and probably the song I’ve replayed the most. Love the more prominent guitars in this version. Thematically I can see this a better fit on Madame X (I actually prefer this to Medellin), but then latin-inspired tracks on a Madonna album seems pretty on brand. “Hot Sauce” on the other hand…. I don't agree with that at all. It sounds like what many latin artist have been bringing the last few years. I think when it comes to Madonna we can’t judge before we see it. There are songs that get entirely different energy when performed, Madonna does that best. I have no doubts. Quote
