dollhouse Posted June 4 Posted June 4 Just now, Ciccone's Cheeks said: THIS could be the song. An actual hit w/ some organic longevity. & feels like THE proper 1st single vs the other 2 songs. To what degree no idea. F the charts- I/we wanted a 100% pure M banger. Ghosttown was textbook absolute 'smash hit song' too & she was only 56 (not 67) & we saw how that did on the charts. Flush any hopes of the US (old news) lol. If UK radio spun the hell out of BYL this should get waay more love. UK/Europe, Australia, South America, Canada I DEF could see embracing this. i hate chart validation talk but us radio is also embracing BYL..and for me all 3 songs so far have been the song it looks like This album will be in my top tier M albums, but im biased since i early 90's house so much
Sanctuary1995 Posted June 4 Posted June 4 Some verse parts are identical to Bring Your Love but this song is better…. in fact it’s the best of all three what’s that €1.59 next to it? Will that download the song in its entirety? Anyone tried?

Carey Posted June 4 Posted June 4 I can't believe what I'm hearing. I feel like she's about to have another critical renaissance.
strictmachine Posted June 4 Posted June 4 I’m feeling like EVERY song on the album could be the song…
Musicinferno Posted June 4 Posted June 4 What a song! The „there‘s nothing that we cannot do“ part is so catchy and clever!

This and Danceteria I absolutely needed/NEED to hear!! lol Exactly! Who even cares? US radio has their nose rammed up Taylor Swift's a$$. The charts don't even mean anything anymore in the streaming era. This smashes.
strictmachine Posted June 4 Posted June 4 I really wish there was no such thing as the “standard edition”. Can you imagine any of her great albums having truncated versions?

This is what happens when she works with a producer that's on her level that she listens to. I said what I said. You set me free with your love sensation!

cocolattee Posted June 4 Posted June 4 I'm loving it! is it just me or her voice seems a little "buried" in the music? I mean, not so prominent in the mix

*mlvc* Posted June 4 Posted June 4 16 minutes ago, strictmachine said: I really wish there was no such thing as the “standard edition”. Can you imagine any of her great albums having truncated versions? Yes, this is what tanked REBEL HEART - the standard edition diluted the work. I thought that album had some of the best songwriting and melodies she had produced in years.

Poor souls who bought only standard without This song It’s the impact of what’s the “real” album and what are just extra songs not part of the “real” album bullshit that it creates in the legacy of it by having these different versions…it’s nonsense. Just create an album, with whatever number of songs that album has, whether it’s more or less…

runa Posted June 4 Posted June 4 24 minutes ago, strictmachine said: I really wish there was no such thing as the “standard edition”. Can you imagine any of her great albums having truncated versions? I agree. I don't get the point. Honestly, I would prefer to get some "b sides", here and there, in the next few months - just to keep the excitement going - than having standard/deluxe edition. I understand they get more physical sales that way, though.
strictmachine Posted June 4 Posted June 4 lol glad to hear she left the grillz on the coffee table for this one
