The entire campaign has focussed more on presenting CONFESSIONS II as an ensemble of songs rather than spotlighting a signature track. We have been treated to remixes for buzz singles, a film previewing 6 tracks & no traditional push for the (lead) BYL single. It’s been about presenting the album as a whole rather than big singles. So it would make sense to perform a medley of tracks at the World Cup rather than 1 big song performance.

BUT had this been released in the late 90s or 00s by Madonna it might had been a hit... like Be Careful with Ricky Martin, the song was not what you would hear playing on the radio in Latin America but Im sure if they had released this song with a video it would had been HUGE

Exactly. We're just a few weeks away from the album's release, yet many so-called insiders are spreading rumors of unfounded collaborations. I don't know if this happens with other artists, but one thing's for sure: many are having fun with it.

She said she isn't on the album, this is different, it's a single remix. We shall see of this actually materialises....

The overall streams for LS should be approx. 450 k if you combine Radio Edit and Album Version

This seems to show the streams for the album version only. I am hoping two of the streams will be merged for the album sales as there is very little difference.

Danceteria? I'm still not into Feid on RML - that's the one I would axe. I also would have preferred the Confessions film credits version of BYL on the album and the SC collab been released as the radio mix. I'm just one of those fans that wants to hear Madonna. If I want to listen to SC then I'll listen to SC, who I do like, btw. I think I was really just looking for a sonically beautiful M experience without rapping or collabs from track 1 - track 16. I'm not saying it hasn't been a good thing in some of her work but by calling this album COADF II I was hoping for something slightly different than the 2005 work but in the same vein, which, TBH is a very tough act to follow. COADF is transcendental and really takes you to a different place. I personally prefer COADF to ROL in many ways but they are really neck and neck for the top spot for me. Having said that I am very pleased with the 3 tracks we have heard so far and I very much liked the snippets we got of GFTS and OSA. Danceteria, I think, is very cheeky and the fans get it but a casual listener isn't going to know the story about Debi Mazar so I have mixed feelings on that one. I trust M and Stuart and it's M's work, of course, but if the features are there solely to attract more sales and fans we all know that's a waste of time at the expense of her art. I think Madonna opened herself up for more scrutiny when she started featuring other artists in her work beginning with HC.
