Michael. Posted July 1 Posted July 1 BYL has the most noticeable transitions for me. Not sure if LS has updated though. The quality has been improved so much though and you can hear so much more detail now. Don’t know why we didn’t get these version from the start!!!

I don’t know … I don’t want to be critical, but it feels a little messy that some of us have purchased it on iTunes and have downloaded three songs from the album already, but now they’re kind of being replaced… I seriously would have bought both versions (continuous and non-continuous). Had kind of assumed by this point that the physical products had the non-stop mix and the digital version (at least to start) was the separated/segmented version. Just … kinda weird to switch them now, but … Honestly, I’m not complaining! I just find it … curious.

Way way back in the day, I bought COADF on CD, so I had the continuous mix. Later on, though, I bought the separated tracks from a digital music platform. And I ripped the CD to mp3, so I had both versions of the album on my iPod. I would have bought both this time, and it’d be double the sales… I mean, I still may do that, if there is a segmented version — we’ll see, I guess. I am very excited about all of the segues and transitions — it seems like we may get different transitions for the 12-track version and the 16-track version (well, just a few, anyway). So I’m excited about that! Just saying I would have been willing to invest in both and would be happy to keep the standalone versions. But yeah, I will probably replace them because the rest of the album will be continuous, so … IFSF, BYL, and Love Sensation would stand out as unmixed on a full album listen. (Hope you get yours sorted out — maybe when the release happens, it’ll correct itself for you.)
