I know they more recently had magician David Blaine interview her, but I also recall Ingrid Sischy interviewing her in 2000, and that was a really great one. So … they can get it right sometimes…? I know her talk show was met with some criticism because she isn’t Graham, but she is dry & witty and I think Madonna would suit her down to the ground for an interview! And she wouldn’t focus on all the stupid gay boy stuff Graham does, I think it could be refreshing the 2 ladies sat down together IF there is to be a high profile interview for CII here in the U.K…….

Totally I don’t think Graham is as good as many portray him to be. Her last appearance on his show with MX was an off day for her though IMO as much as it was the edit, Graham & the other guests. Ryland was amazing with her, maybe it was those teeth shining that made her feel safe, like moonlight on a winters night guiding you home from a night of regrets ? I mean IF there is a high profile talk show what at the options over here? The usual Graham/Johnathan or a special of Claudia Winkleman Show as that’s the newest one out and a woman for a change, which I think Madonna would appreciate. I did love Madonna 2012 Graham interview though, but she had the entire episode, she didn’t in 2019, I think she relaxes and prefers it when it’s all about her.

Although I still haven't forgiven him for during the RH era when he quoted Nas lyrics as if they were HER lyrics from Veni Vidi Vici and showed he hadn't actually done his homework and listened to the album rookie error Jonathan!

She feels a bit stiff. I noticed in the Bilt video too, is she averting eye contact a lot with people? It feels a bit off to me, but maybe I'm imagining it. Anyway, I can't see this helping streams of IFSF, because its a bit messy but hey I'm happy if it does!

For me they had no chemistry at all and it looked almost staged. I think it will make zero difference for the album/ song

I have to say, even with the Bilt interview, she's adopted this strange overthinking kind of demeanor. It started with Madame X where she doesn't make eye contact and acts like she's really thinking about everything seriously. It's very affected. Where's the joy and smiling of the ordinary confessions era?
pithy Posted May 29 Posted May 29 I think it's probably a synaptic plasticity thing. A lot of older people sort of stop thinking as quickly. There's still the intelligence - it's just harder to access everything they know in order to immediately make all of the connections they wish in conversation. She was also known as an insightful person, for good reason, so she wants to keep speaking intelligently. That introduces a pressure. Everything she says will be litigated or quoted or otherwise remembered. Knowing that probably makes it harder for her to speak off the cuff.
