Theres already been reports here & there that One Step Away is THE song to look forward too and rumours it is the 2nd single….. Or is this person legit and actually heard it and declaring their position? Wasn’t Danceteria rumored to be the big smash?

Confessit II Posted May 27 Posted May 27 28 minutes ago, Lolo said: Wasn’t Danceteria rumored to be the big smash? Yes I’ve read that as well. The Danceteria rumours I think come from the listening parties, where everyone who heard the album praised the song and basically said it’s the best in so many words. But I have also read One Step Away being praised with huge glory as well. It feeds back to all the earlier fanfare of this solo banger from the insiders, if that was ever true….from what I’ve read the 2 songs that are contenders for that title are One Step Away & Dancetria.

The only detail he gave was the duration of the song (3:02 minutes)

RoyalMadonna Posted May 27 Posted May 27 You guys, it's obviously fake, this account is a fan, and they posted some stupid ass picture as if they got to listen to the song on spotify.... WAKE UP please don't be gullible
Mr Ciccone Posted May 27 Posted May 27 2 hours ago, vesper_wolf said: It's wild how different communities they are approaching with this, they really wanna make crossover awareness (something she really needed at this point honestly) Spiritual podcast that started it, then perfume and fashion, coachella, random gay club and grindr, film festival, fifa, now bilt? And Studio later this year maybe? It's really all over
*mlvc* Posted May 27 Posted May 27 6 hours ago, Jairo said: Collabs could be added after the tracklist is out. Even on release day Spotify could show the tracks with no feats and then you hear the guest artist on the track without credits… Yes, of course that could be the case. For me I think it’s more wishful thinking. I’m not a fan of collabs and features for the most part unless they’re really well done. I think they work better on remixes because it gives the song a different twist.

I don't believe this featuring is happening. I don’t believe it either. If Bunny was on the album it would be lead single. In any event, the tone of the album is pretty much set now, a love letter to the dance floor embracing house music & her early rise in NYC, I don’t see how Bunny fits in to it.
smirnoff_ice Posted May 28 Posted May 28 Most likely it’s BS like kylie or gaga being featured. I don’t believe this at all.
markm Posted May 28 Posted May 28 From Javier at UK mix Previous opening week numbers MDNA: US #1 - 359k UK #1 - 56.3k Rebel Heart: US #2 - 121k (9k behind the Empire album) UK #2 - 37.2k (12k behind Sam Smith) Madame X: US #1 - 95k UK #2 - 27k (behind Sam Smith) I expect 50K in the UK for CONFESSIONS II and 150K-175K in the USA.
runa Posted May 28 Posted May 28 Pretty sure the Bad Bunny rumour is fake but I love him. Way more than Maluma.
strictmachine Posted May 28 Posted May 28 I mean personally I wouldn’t be counting on the visual film being released globally next Friday beyond the screening of it locally…feels like you’re setting yourself up for disappointment. But at the very least we’ll get to hear about it from those forum members attending.

I really hope there isn’t a looooong gap post-premier at TriBeCa! I feel it would be so, unnecessary?

You are not alone I’ve read a few fans are doing just the same to avoid full previews of the first half of the album ! I don’t have your will power I have softer the campaign so far but it’s been really long without a visual for the era. I hope it’s released that weekend AFTER the premiere or at worst, 1 week maximum afterwards. I think the album campaign needs its music video now we are over half way through the pre order period after all. 2 minutes ago, Mr Ciccone said: Yeah, this person is setting themselves up for disappointment. Without those tour bundles and redemption codes MX wouldn’t have shifted as high as 95K in sales in America. I suspect the figure would be much lower as well, maybe even as low as 60K, but they never released the figures so we won’t know.
