cocolattee Posted May 3 Posted May 3 I would be curious to know what are Warner’s expectation for this Madonna record… where they set the bar between a successfull project and an underperforming one As far as I’m concerned, no matter how this song does on the charts (and I really hope it does well), I don’t dislike it but I’m not crazy for it either. I would rate it on par with “recent” “singles” like Hold Tight from RH or Future from MX. Cute but forgettable. And if I feel so free is more of an indication of what the overall sound of the album will be, than July can’t come soon enough because I want my Madonna to go hard/harder (or go home)

Just an assumption based on the fact Warner have released physicals for some of their other major artists and they seem to want to milk every penny out of the gays with this release judging by the amount of album variants. It's a no brainer, but who knows.

We all have ridiculous expectations everytime she releases something. This time, I feel she lives up to the hype or even exedes it. Even if BYL won‘t be the major hit we want it to be everything from Confessions 2 she released or played in part feels fresh, exciting, different! It‘s all good! As someone said before, I prefer to really like the music to it being a chart hit. The album will be number one anyway.

And how it will be performed live! That's always exciting to think about.
