Joao Posted April 21 Posted April 21 I will wait for the studio version. The live version has nothing special. My expectations are very high after IFSF. I hope from that level up
dollhouse Posted April 21 Posted April 21 the song is constantly in my head, reminds me so much of my youth music
Ciccone's Cheeks Posted April 21 Posted April 21 6 hours ago, bard said: for me it's just kind of basic and generic sounding. the hook is catchy but it feels kind of paint by numbers. it doesn't excite me the way IFSF does. i can imagine hearing it at pride parades and such. whether you think that's a compliment or not just depends on taste i guess! Yep. But....reeally trying to wait for the *full proper official HQ (do NOT want a leak) AND confirmation on basically everything atp! lol. Long as it's not as painfully dull as Yes..And? and slightly better than Break My Soul. Both obv. very early 90s house influenced.
Michael. Posted April 21 Posted April 21 I think the HQ will be significantly better. The sung vocals are catching and the “bring your love” part has gotten stuck in my head. The spoken part didn’t translate as well though so I think it’ll work better in HQ. It seems like it’s more whispered in the final version than the live performance.

It's clearly a bit too early to be describing it as "generic" I was just about to ask where you all heard the complete song but thank you for confirming there’s still just the Coachella performance out there.
acko Posted April 21 Posted April 21 For some strange reason I always hear it as Ding-a-ling. ..instead of Bring Your Love.

metalissimo Posted April 21 Posted April 21 I kinda suspect that the video of Bring Your Love hasn't been made yet that's why they postponed the release.

BMS grew on me a lot over time. 6 hours ago, Michael. said: I think the HQ will be significantly better. The sung vocals are catching and the “bring your love” part has gotten stuck in my head. bard Posted April 22 Posted April 22 genius, which is user-generated so take with a grain of salt, lists rochelle jordan's "doing it too" as a sample on BYL but seems odd that they would sample such a recent, practically unknown song: anyway, this is the "generic" contemporary house sound i've mentioned and don't love.

Absolutely awful, she was ushered into the track last minute, and you can tell. At least with Sabrina the track is well through out as it’s been born out of the recording sessions with Stuart whereas the Britney collab was last minute to get Madonna sellotaped on to it. The lyrics we have heard for BYL with Sabrina certainly tell an interesting story, MATM is back of a fag packet stuff for Madonna’s parts. 9 hours ago, bard said: genius, which is user-generated so take with a grain of salt, lists rochelle jordan's "doing it too" as a sample on BYL but seems odd that they would sample such a recent, practically unknown song: anyway, this is the "generic" contemporary house sound i've mentioned and don't love. I don’t disagree is essence with what you are saying. I guess it comes down to a lot of elements, the lyrics, the themes, the entire production but I agree, the chorus is generic house from what we heard on the BYL preview at Coachella, but I think the sample (or interpolation) is perfectly placed and sounds banging turned up! If we isolate the piano from Vogue I guess that could be called generic house as an element as well? But the piano in both tracks Vogue & BYL lift the track to infectious dance heaven!

Since this sounds sooo very 90s I wouldn’t be surprised if the ,sample‘ is pure coincidence, meaning it’s just unintentionally similar.

"vogue" uses lots of different samples, loops, and sounds, many lifted from 70s disco songs and even a sample from madonna's own discography. it's not just one house-y kick drum and snare, which is what these newer house songs sound like to me. that's the difference.

mtzlplk Posted April 22 Posted April 22 MADONNA and SABRINA performing this at the American Music Awards or Billboard Music Awards would be perfect promo, if only they will release this.
madmusic76 Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Im so ready for the studio version!!! COME ON! RELEASE IT!
Steve Posted April 22 Posted April 22 This song is the radio friendly song people here have wanted. I think it is a pop song, radio friendly and still very Madonna with the Madonna-esque lyrics. Excited that the album will have pop, house, trance and bops.
johndvd25 Posted April 23 Posted April 23 after watching their performance for the nth time i fell in love with the song. i think it will become my number one favorite from the album even i though i havent heard all the songs. its poppy and a bop really. it makes lme happy and put a smile to my face. please release it already!
