After the snippets from Saturday I got the feeling that one of the new songs would be perfect as a solo lead single, with the collab coming in June or with the album launch So all of the streams it garners between April 30th and July 2nd(?) will not count towards the first week album total?
luizotaviobarros Posted April 27 Posted April 27 I don't love it as much as the other songs, but it's probably the right move at this point. It's catchy, well-produced, uplifting lyrics...She and Sabrina sound great together. Mother has given us other edgier, clubbier tracks, so this one seems like a good balance now.

I love the 90s nostalgia and I really think the general public will really like it as well. From the preview ALONE I think its her best lead single since 4minutes! Finally, a song that is suit for the masses! Cant wait for the 2nd track from CONFESSIONS II Ny only gripe is the single cover is a bit boring !
Jairo Posted April 27 Posted April 27 16 minutes ago, Mr Ciccone said: Weren't some hoping this song would be saved until album release week because of something to do with the streams counting towards the album units?? 4 minutes ago, Mr Ciccone said: So all of the streams it garners between April 30th and July 2nd(?) will not count towards the first week album total? The reason I wanted that collaboration to be released on the same day as the album is because Sabrina would give a boost to the streaming numbers after the album's release, and that would guarantee a #1 spot with sales exceeding 100,000 copies in the first week. However, it's not a problem. All views and streams from the song's release until the album's release will, of course, count towards the album's first week and certifications!

I think it has potential to become a hit over here across Europe as I think that sound and vibe is far more popular and palatable for the mainstream. In America not so sure ! But I think it will play out big time on many clubs and pick up traction there….. I mean, Beyonce enjoyed her moment with house resurgence, Sabrina does have big streaming pull but I think a top ten entry here in the U.K. is very possible with big promotional tactics ! This is where Warner’s need to come into their own with major playlisting! And what about the video? Is it the clip filled with stunts & celebrity cameos that will become a news worthy talked about clip? If so, that will help divert attention to it!

mtzlplk Posted April 27 Posted April 27 I AM SO DELIGHTED AND EXCITED FOR THIS ONE! MOVE OVER IFSF... I want AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS performance...

They released Houdini on multiple physical format for Dua, so they are more than capable of it! 2 minutes ago, Anne said: The BYL streams from May till the end of June will count only for the album certifications. The exactly reason for the track being CONFESSIONS II lead! I always knew deep down Warners would kick off with a collab, especially with Sabrina it makes commercial sense. Her streaming platform has risen a bit since Coachella, let’s see if it can help raise BYL profile

Not if they have a stand-alone version of it, just like what they have with IFSF, right? They actually should have that stand-alone version available, the one that they should spread on playlists... .
