Read conflicting reports about phones — earlier today, someone said they would not allow phones, but very recently someone said they haven’t taken phones, so that likely means no new tracks played (according to that source — not my own commentary). DrownedMadonna has tweeted photos… Absolut is the official sponsor and they have a Madonna-inspired drink menu. There are walls of images with the Abbey logo, the poster we’ve seen around, the legs/speaker art image, and the album cover. There is something that looks like a speaker similar to what she is posing on top of on the album cover … but it looks damaged on the front already. (!!) One of the photos has a couple male go-go dancers, too. Quote

Yes, the poster/invite said 9pm to 2am, so but that’s still an hour and 45 (ish) minutes. But the word was that she would come out around midnight, and multiple sources are saying her appearance is imminent. Just not sure it was worth staying awake for on the east coast the way info and vids are trickling out. Quote

It’s just that usually there are people that can’t do that (live in the moment) and are tweeting while stuff is happening. Good for them for enjoying. Word is that this is the birthday party for the owner of the Abbey and he has paid for Madonna, Stuart, and Romy to be there. (?!) Seems a bit … far-fetched, unless this guy is a friend of M or something. (The Absolut sponsorship, though, and all the M promo stuff would seem to point to something a little more official than a private b-day party, but … what do I know?) Quote
