The veil is rather pink than purple. Just saying for those who want to get one 🩷

The Rochelle Jordan track heavily „borrows“ from Good Life whereas Bring Your Love seems to sample it in a very clever way. Can‘t wait to hear the studio version!

I like the two tracks we have heard so far better than anything on Madame X (and I enjoy that album, but it is an experience rather than individual tracks to enjoy) and to be honest, I like both tracks heard so far more than anything she has released on all her Interscope albums.

I only bothered ordering 2 versions of MX and RH. I have ordered all the variants so far from CII. I think we're at 14?

Going by the reaction online, this era already feels like her biggest since 2008. Since album eras (especially for legacy artists) tend to fizzle out very quickly after release, they need to keep this momentum going for the next two and a half months and ensure the album achieves a solid debut in the US and globally!

If they manage that, I think it will be remembered as a hit era, regardless of how the singles chart!

To keep the momentum going, I bet on single release this Friday (but I’m sure of which song…) and maybe some magazine cover too?

It's delightful to be experiencing another rollout from her. Because it's been so long, I'm actually surprised by how my body still feels too small for the surge of emotions and energy she gets pulsating. The story continues. Let's all savour every moment.

I think that’s next as well.

An announcement of the 1st single NEXT WEEK to be released I think this Friday 24th April.

Video teasers to start tomorrow.

I think Bring Your Love with Sabrina will serve up as COFESSIONS II official lead single.

Then what's the video that was being shot with the cameos that were mentioned?  I'd assume that's the video for the lead single?  I didn't hear anything about Sabrina being part of that shoot?

Is it for sure that Bring you love will be the first official single?

And are we really sure that there was just one video shot?

Sabrina's part was filmed with M in LA. Then the celebrity cameos in London.

First it was thought to be 2 different videos, but it seems it's all for the same one.

Which ever video it is, the album will have a lead/1st single, we assume it will be the Sabrina collab Bring Your Love now that it’s been previewed to the world.

I assume IF it is the lead is going to be the lead single then it’s that video that will command the biggest budget from Warners…..it sounds very expensive with sound stages being hired, the stunt doubles ect.

But she might have easily shot multiple videos in the last 4 months!

But my guess is the biggest video in terms of production will be the lead single……and Sabrina could have easily filmed her parts in LA and Madonna finished the shoot off later on in London with the celebrity cameos.

Nothing is confirmed.

But Bring Your Love has now had its world preview at Coachella and that’s the performance that’s been shared over & over again online and received all the love.

To drop a totally different song after the performance has gone viral all over the place I think would be strange ….. wouldn’t it?

The world is talking about Madonna & Sabrina right now, so that’s the song that should be CONFESSIONS II lead single in my humble opinion….

…..the early love for it has already started 😍

I hope there are several videos.. and not a video with a big budget used for BYL.

Exactly! I'd absolutely love to be proven wrong but I'm very skeptical about any of the singles from the album tearing up the singles charts, including the Sabrina duet. It's just an uphill battle for a legacy artist. I think the real measure of success is going to be about perception and vibes tbh. So far the reception is overwhelmingly positive so if she and WB can keep that momentum going then the album is a "hit". Also, I do think it's still important for the album to debut fairly high on the albums chart.....it doesn't even have to be #1 but anything outside of the top 5 could put a little cloud over things IMO.

Look at the Brat album. I don't think it's even certified in the US (??). It's seen as a massive success (rightfully so) and I think the highest charting single from that on BB Hot 100 is #12, I don't think it even had any others hit the top 40. That album was the hottest thing in 2024 so it would SEEM there'd be far more successful singles but that just goes to show how far critical acclaim, record company push and public perception goes into making an album successful. If Confessions II can have it's own little "Apple dance" moment in some way, that will seal the deal for this. Sales numbers and chart positions while not completely irrelevant by any means, just don't hold the same weight as they used to.

I agree with everything you have said here hun.

BRAT biggest single was undoubtedly the collaboration with Billie, which was massive and everywhere that year. It was also a #1 here in the UK and I think reached #12 in America, it was played absolutely everywhere.

I would argue BRAT did have a single attached to it that went as mainstream as that album was ever going to get  and that was Guess with Billie. It really did lift BRAT even more into the public consciousness!

I suspect Madonna’s mainstream (as much as It can do) single with CONFESSIONS II will be Bring Your Love that will be her Guess and her Billie Eylish will be Sabrina.

But I think the parallels to Charli XCX are spot on, I think CONFESSIONS II will enjoy a lot of appreciation and love from the clubs of the world like BRAT did and find its audience without the usual successful single run pop albums receive.

I’d even argue the pink veil she wears on the album cover has already started a little bit of an online moment, with companies getting in on the fun

I wonder how all Those celebs will interact with M and Sabrina in The video as Those 2 exchange lines in The song?

I know nothing obviously BUT based on the lyrics we have heard I think the videos narrative will explore the criticism that celebrity must endure and the expectations.

I think the celebrities play themselves and are part of a big FUCK YOU to the worlds critics and they just wanna love?

Just a thought
