All this AND I saw Tori Amos in concert the other night, who I feel is also having a bit of a resurgence. My teenage self would be so happy to see this happening.

I think the long break from music, the celebration tour and the old hits going viral on tiktok have all set up a perfect scenario for Warner to lay out a sublime rollout week. I imagine everybody there is very happy so far.

I would imagine we are this getting a continuous mix from the start of the album going to streaming for CONFESSIONS II I don’t use iTunes but does it have the ability to mix into other songs like jt can on Spotify? (sorry I’m naive as don’t use it!)

I had a moment of inspiration… For the first Confessions Tour, we got Stuart restoring an early demo of Erotica so we got a lush and modern performance that included portions of “You Thrill Me.” So follow me down the path … For Club Confessions, or whatever she wants to call the Confessions II tour, what if Stuart restores another demo from her vaults?!? Remember that he worked on the Untold Chapter of Bedtime Stories… so… How UH-MAZ-ING would it be to get at Stuart Confessions II update for a performance of “Secret” … but it’s the original Shep Pettibone-produced “Something’s Coming Over” ?!?! Having heard “I Feel So Free,” and knowing that “Something’s Coming Over” had been described as having some Donna Summer “I Feel Love” flavor, it seems like “Something’s Coming Over” would sit well in a Confessions II set list, especially with “I Feel So Free.” Just had to share … the thought is super exciting to me. If it’s not “Something’s Coming Over,” maybe Stuart will revive something else from the vault. Could be really special.

After we saw it being rehearsed for MX … and then didn’t she write it on a paper in the lead-up to the Celebration Tour, too? … So … third time’s the charm! It really seems like it would fit sonically with Confessions II (more so than MX — although it could have fit with IDSIF and Vogue, perhaps).
