TMZ has learned. A rep for the Indio Police Department tells TMZ ... “On Saturday, April 18, 2026, at approximately 7:32 p.m., a missing property report was filed” by Madonna’s rep. The police said the reported missing items included clothing and jewelry, “which were last seen on a golf cart at the Empire Polo Grounds on Saturday, April 18, 2026, shortly after 1:30 a.m., during weekend two of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.” The police said a prelim investigation indicates the two bags containing the items, “may have fallen off a golf cart operated by staff who were on their way to load the bags onto a bus. Upon arriving at the hotel shortly thereafter, the staff realized the bags were missing.” The spokesperson said there is “no evidence to suggest the bags were intentionally stolen.” The Indio Police Department is asking anyone who may have located the bags to please turn them in immediately or call the department. As TMZ previously reported, sources told TMZ that Madonna filed a police report over the missing items. The legendary pop star, who performed with Sabrina Carpenter at weekend two of Coachella, said the pieces were vintage and meant a lot to her. She said, "These aren't just clothes, they are part of my history." "I'm hoping and praying that some kind soul, will find these items and reach out to my team,” Madonna wrote as she offered a reward for the return of the items Quote

peter Posted April 22 Posted April 22 Saw a short on YouTube of Kelly Ripa reporting (with her husband Mark Consuelos) during their show about the exciting Coachella show and then about how her vintage costume pieces have gone missing, and then they joked about how it was a good thing Kelly wasn’t there and she says she has a full alibi! You can find examples of those on the Coachella YouTube channel. They had a short of Madonna and Sabrina singing LAP during this past weekend, but not sure if they would feature the entirety of Madonna’s guest appearance. Maybe Sabrina has plans to make it available on her channel, though, or something. Not sure whether the artist “owns” it or the festival “owns” it. (Beyonce was able to package hers for a Netflix special some years back, so … there must be some portability. Not sure if they were livestreaming on YouTube back then or not, though. Wasn’t paying much attention.) Quote

I’m actually getting teary-eyed. We were wondering if this had happened … I’d given up on it, tbh. Once we got M and Sabrina posting their backstage photos, I figured their paths didn’t cross. It warms my heart. ALOTO is one of my faves. And the quotes from M’s letter that refer to Geena always felt like they were meant to be private, not public. And I kinda hope that by now M’s thoughts have changed a bit, anyway. Everyone grows in time, I think. And Geena does some interesting work on women in media/film now, which I think M could appreciate. Anyway. Dottie and Mae together again. Hope they could both say to each other: “Hey, you did good.
