Second single piggy-backs off the success and also charts in the lower Hot 100. Radio more likely to give it a shot."

I don't necessarily agree with Top 10 on the Hot 100 for the Sabrina collab.

I've heard IFSF on radio - this era she seems to have radio support so I think she wants to do the solo as the lead single to prove it.

If this is true, just imagine the face of executives seeing Madonna pushing for a controverse (?) and less commercial single, while having another one with a possible guaranteed return into the charts, after having spent over a decade absent from the main charts

from a marketing pov, it'd make sense to release the duet, but if they fear low first albums sales then they'll choose to leave it for late June

Surely they would know what the title of the song is if the album is already in production. I can’t take anything serious past that point.

I suppose we'll have to wait until 3pm tomorrow to see if the single actually drops.

I hope they give IFSF at least a week more. It's a great track, ot deseves the spotlight moment and it is doing its work. Also, I feel people are being waaaay optimistic of the posible effects of her SC duet

Its a really good song and none of her previous collaborations have been that case (some will say 4 Minutes but its not a fav of mine). It sounds like a pop song BY MADONNA for a change and not Madonna being on someone else's song so I think that's the difference. It all comes down to the music. I love I Feel So Free, its clubby and sublime, but I can not see it setting the chart or even the interest of her casual fans on fire. Unfortunately. Its sleek and classy, but I don't know how far it can get.

obviously we haven't heard the real thing yet, but you're saying it's a "good song" is subjective, just like saying 4M isn't a fav of yours. personally, i think 4M had much more hit potential from what we've heard so far, but we'll see i guess.

That's when they dropped IFSF last week. Catches America waking up and still half a day for UK/Europe. 

If anything does happen tomorrow, I'm thinking either then or the radio 2 breakfast show.

oh you mean the radio premiere? if it's the lead single i think it will be planned out better than that. there will be a US radio premiere. and it would be happening today, with a midnight digital drop.

IFSF is already starting to die down. Warner needs to strike while the pan is hot and while everyone is watching,

and when that song inevitably starts to drop in a week or two, what then? release a new song every week until the album comes out? we've got 10 weeks. everyone wanted madonna back with warner so they could do things right. let's let them do it?

If a single drops from the charts in a week or two, it wasn't a good choice for a single to begin with.

And that won't happen with the Sabrina featuring. That song has at least 2-3 months of life in the charts.

I still believe not releasing anything this Friday is a mistake.

but IFSF isn't a proper single. and any solo madonna single is going to have a short shelf life. i'm not convinced the sabrina song has that long of a life, in which case it's far too early.

So basically you are saying nothing from the album is going to work as a single. I don't agreed with that. She needs the best songs out, mainly for streaming reasons and keep people talking. At least 2 before the album is out.
