I mean considering it's not matrketed as a single, it was dropped with little to no promotion, no video, and one day less of streaming... that's honestly an achievement for now! and to put in a context, it's already higher than Medellin, Crave, Ghosttown and Bitch I'm Madonna - songs that were actual singles and were actually promoted (and had features attached) you're right , i had forgotten how much of a flop Medellin was..
vesper_wolf Posted April 20 Posted April 20 It just dawned on me - so that last "Freee" in the song is sang in the exact same melody as "(i love new) yoooork". I feel so free seems intentionally reminiscent of future lovers - song that segues into ILNY on confessions. Is this an intentional easter egg then?

Rain Posted April 20 Posted April 20 I've been wondering since we know it's a continuous mix on the album. How will the end of IFSF be like? Will it be drastically different?

Icykiller Posted April 20 Posted April 20 Another proof that she doesn't need collabs. Just the right song and promo. Quiet release, sending it out to djs, creating buzz on media platforms, ... What are the odds IFSF enters the low positions of the Hot 100?

jonur Posted April 20 Posted April 20 How many streams would it have to take in a week for it to crack it even at number 99 or something? Sorry I don't know anything about the way charts are with stream counts etc etc. Just curious if you'd have an estimate ??
HolidayGuy Posted April 20 Posted April 20 With minimal airplay and sales, a track probably needs around 4 million streams in a week to chart at the bottom of the Hot 100. It also depends on the week, as there are higher or lower thresholds at times. So, yeah, probably not happening here. At No. 3 U.S. iTunes (that Rodrigo track is Nos. 4 and 5); again, I don't think instant grats (getting a track when you pre-order an album) count toward the Hot 100 any more? Billboard did some rule change with the Complete My Album process last decade. Still U.K. No. 1.
Paul Posted April 20 Posted April 20 4 hours ago, Dr Lecter said: U.K. midweeks 87 i don’t understand the charts at all Me neither. I mean, when you look at the songs higher than 87, so many are songs I’ve never heard of by artists I’ve never heard of, which all have zero presence outside streaming, and yet somehow someone is streaming those songs more? I think the whole streaming thing is fishy.

HolidayGuy Posted April 21 Posted April 21 bard- yes, that track had 14.7 million radio audience (No. 47 on Radio Songs), 2.5 million streams and 5,000 sold, to debut at No. 95.

Wow so much effort to force a song to debut at no 95 for a week. To me it’s such a pointless exercise.
peter Posted April 21 Posted April 21 So what do we think the broken glass in the visualizer for IFSF means? I feel like it doesn’t become clear until the very final moments of the song — feels like a reveal but only creates more mystery! Any thoughts?
svperstar Posted April 21 Posted April 21 Did anyone see the MadonnaHQ instagram stories? it sounds like maybe Honey Dijon has remixed "I Feel So Free"?
sydneydude Posted April 21 Posted April 21 Are Capital Radio UK playing IFSF seeing it entered their chart at No2?

Prayer85 Posted April 21 Posted April 21 I know my contribution is minimal, like a drop in the ocean, but I'm listening to it at least 10 times a day, alternating with 3 other songs. Is that how Spotify counts, right? Anyway, the song really deserves it, and I'm doing it because I like to support it. It's a 5-minute song, but it never gets boring. It's very dynamic, and the minutes fly by like an incredible 3-minute song! Should we organize a mass action? Who's capable of organizing it? I'm in.

I'm excited for the remixes though (and I haven't been able to say that in quite some time!)
Anne Posted April 21 Posted April 21 Now the TikTok clip with M dancing at Coachella is played while you stream the song on Spotify.
