Matt Posted April 20 Posted April 20 I could see IFSF becoming a little streaming success with the good reputation the song seems to have. I hope it will pull good numbers for a long time. And maybe new peaks again and again. usually new Madonna songs on streaming drop like a stone. I have faith this time but i am also prepared for the worse. anyway, this song is addictive and soooo amazing
jonski43 Posted April 20 Posted April 20 Just reading the threads and I look back and I must admit that, for the last three albums, I mainly listened to album tracks. Few of the singles really appealed. Even the remixes were generally uninteresting although Madame X was a marked improvement. Although not an official single, this feels like the first song that's had repeat value.

Both songs are amazing (I prefer I feel so free) and she’s reinvented herself seemingly again and it’s being received well. She looks, sounds and everything about the songs/performance/rollout has been fresh and she’s being appreciated for the first time in like 2 eras by the world…(confessions was like all the old fans coming back after she fucked then during MX IMO lol) anyway I’m too busy these days but I still love this forum and I’m gonna be undoubtedly on it more often!!! Hope everyone is enjoying the ride!!

Premiering the track to Pride radio, all the press articles and love for the track as Madonna’s first solo song from a new album in 7 years all over the place, raising anticipation for more new music as well the album full stop is exactly what Warners intended. Treating IFSF as the albums lead is purely a mistake on anyone’s part because that’s not the point. It’s creating buzz, building up a solid positive foundation to springboard the actual singles from, and indeed the album. It’s not about streaming points, it’s about raising the profile of CONFESSIONS II and that’s exactly what releasing IFSF is doing in bucket loads! When was the last time a new Madonna song was reposted on so vastly? Warners had pulled a blinder these last few days. If we are going to get commercial leading singles then it’s amazing to show off the more experimental side of the album, Christ anything to promote all the amazing shades of dance the new record has to offer can only be a GOOD thing !
