if you're playing it on a loop i would add more songs. you need at least two songs between IFSF every time you play it, and rumor is that only 20 streams per song per user is counted. but honestly i wouldn't even go that far because you could get flagged and none of your streams count. best thing to do is just listen to it organically and/or drop it into your favorite playlists and play those daily.

Yup! And while I think we should welcome those fans back with open arms (and see them off properly when they inevitably leave again...lol)....I think it's important to remember that many of us have never stopped doing the Lord's work when it comes to spreading the good word on Madonna and her music.

I can't fully judge the Sabrina duet yet just based on the live performance but IFSF is definitely more my vibe from what I can tell so far. I LOVE when her songs are a little grimier and go through multiple twists, turns and shifts and are super layered and IFSF fit that to the tee. If the Sabrina duet is indeed the lead single though, I do think the strategy is brilliant. There's no denying that song has more potential viability commercially as it's more of a straightforward pop song + Sabrina + the undeniable chemistry between the two = a potential hit like Madonna hasn't seen in years. I do think it's an uphill battle though, no matter what single they choose. Somehow, I think you're right though that IFSF will end up having the lasting staying power when all is said and done. It SCREAMS tour opener or epic live performance and that in itself will go a long ways in sealing it's legacy!

yeah, i can't fully judge "bring your love" until i hear the studio version, but i heard enough of the lyrics, hook, and beat to know that it will probably not end up in my top 5 from the album. there's something about these modern "house" throwback songs that feel so generic. reminds me (sound-wise) of katy and gaga's attempts at recreating that 90s sound. maybe the beat is too heavy or basic or something? i need to hear the full thing. but renaissance did it well so i know it's possible.

I know what you mean about the modern "house" throwback songs and honestly, that was a slight concern of mine knowing Madonna was leaning more into a "house" sound with Confessions II but with IFSF, the slight apprehension I had was immediately relieved....and tbh, I should've known better to begin with!  Madonna never has been basic. When she goes in, she goes IN! Even if BYL falls more into that slightly more "generic" (for lack of a better term) lane than IFSF does, I still have lots of faith that the studio version won't be a full on Katy/Gaga situation with their interpretation of "house". Even with the live version, it seems like people have already noticed little flourishes here and there that will surely be greatly enhanced with the studio version that sets it apart from the "house" interpretations of other artists in recent years. I'd agree, Beyonce is one of the few that have gotten it correct in recent times!

yeah, i feel the same way overall. but i will say that i actually like katy's "waiting on air" and "swish swish." they're nice little throwbacks, but they're just missing something. maybe it's the technology? too digital? i do have faith in stuart. and i'm sure there's another house song or two on the album, so i'm very curious.

Warners released Houdini on multiple physical format for Dua Lipa.

I would be amazed if they don’t do the same for Madonna’s lead single.

Same, same! I think the only difference for me this time (other than the longer than usual wait) is … the experience of almost losing her in 2023, or being confronted with that possibility. I keep getting overwhelmed sometimes with emotion, and I ask myself if I was always this way, or if it is just age (mine! lol! not Madonna’s — she’s younger than me at heart) and nostalgia growing with time, but … I keep landing on the idea that I’m really feeling a massive tsunami of gratitude that we get to experience this again, since we may not have if things had turned out differently back in 2023. We’re so blessed.

ITTG  re  entered the UK top 40  after 40 years and climbed to number 18 with no physicals,  no official promotion from Warners or Madonna and very little airplay.  For the lead single she needs a viral moment like ITTG, Radio 2 airplay and a huge social media presence and done big promotion. Physicals will definitely benefit her but ultimately the song has to connect with both the fans and the general public.
