It actually reminds me of of BIM - her Celebration Tour finale.

And me.

It’s a gorgeous cover, the font reminds me of Brat, very simplistic and minimalist. But I believe it’s the same art house that has created the package for Confessions II that created Brat for Charli XCX.

The tile Confessions II is growing on me seeing it on the covers.

Just checked on catch up - Gary Davies said 'Madonna will be back on Friday with new music' but that was it.

Could be an assumption?

I think everyone is assuming a lead single on Friday as that’s standard for new album release announcement weeks.

I can’t think of a recent example in pop music where an album has been announced without the lead single same week but the week after?

A few major artists have reacted to Madonna's post about her new album, including Ariana Grande, Laura Pausini, Anastacia, and Maluma, as well as several Italian artists who love her. Too many people are missing. I hope she has all of our support! Go Madonna!

It's been showing as £85.99 for me the entire time!

Is it refundable? I ordered but I think I want to get something else instead

Yes.

The 16-track standard CD comes in a 4-panel digipack including a fold-out poster.

The 16-track deluxe CD comes in a  7x10.25 inches soft-cover photobook.

🫶  Thanks!
That’s what I was thinking, but just wanted to make sure.

So I was talking to a friend and he told me an idea that seems accurate: "the 'by the way it all started like this' line... I have a feeling... that the song is going to have an interpolation of "everybody"'. Which is actually a great idea and not the first time she samples herself.

Ohhhh that’s an idea.

But it doesn’t quite fit the filthy intense house beats it’s more likely to my ears after the “by the way it all started like this” to launch into a sample of Rhythm is Dancer”

But to open with some of Everybody would be iconic as hell but I’m not sure a whole song built round sampling Everybody?

I said the same earlier!

I don't collect Vinyl so do I get the 16 track CD photo-book? But I also want the standard continuous mix CD... Decisions...

The cover is gorgeous. It stands as unique in its colour pallet, style and font.

Right now for me it belongs in the 2nd tier of Madonna album covers. It’s sits comfortably between outstanding & good.

I love the style but I am still on the fence about the veil covering her face.

Where would everyone else rank Confessions II cover amongst her others?

I actually love the veil, it reminds me of marble statues where the fabric is chiseled into the stone. She's like an artwork.

Id objectively rank it the best of her album covers since the last Confessions, though I have a massive soft spot for MX, which is very underrated and unique.

The font is a let down. It's as bad as Madame X in terms of style and placement. Look at the original confessions above and the font is design perfection and could only go with that album. This one looks like it got misplaced in the printer.

The veiled photo reminds me much more of the beast within than it does the BIM performance. I think it’s the erect and yoga-like pose.

Yes I see that. I think the pose, the speaker & the colours look sublime, just the veil for me but I will need to see it in real life.

I agree, I adore the RH cover deluxe but minus that, it’s the best since COADF.

The font is the only thing I really think lets it down.

It’s a bit too simple and I get that’s the approach, but the styling doesn’t suit that plain & simplistic font to my eyes. It looks very underwhelming the font.

I don’t even think some of the people who are actually genuinely in the know like journalists (The Sun) who got the exclusive last month of the video shoot & Radio presenters who would be told of a new song days before normally from record labels can tell us.

Maybe there has been a change of heart behind the scenes and the single was coming this week but now it’s been postponed to next week?

i don't think they would move it. if it's not this week then i think the COADF vinyl is the culprit. actually surprised they didn't mention that tie-in in the press release.

i've always loved the idea of her sampling "everybody." there are multiple elements to choose from that are all unique and instantly recognizable.

the deluxe rebel heart is great. i never really cared for the original COADF. i might even rank the new one above it.

It's available on Amazon in the USA.

that's for the physical standard, deluxe, vinyl and (oddly) cassette.

Anywhere to pre-download the album yet?
