Confessit II Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Just now, ULIZOS said: Oh Didn’t they say Madonna was definitely not playing Rio

Here's an "exclusive" update by them right before La Bambola dropped: Look, we're not going to say much—we don't want to ruin the surprise—but with all the rumors flying around (yes, even in major publications), we felt we should clear a few things up. We can confirm that the wait is nearly over to hear a taste of the new single. But no, despite all the speculation, it has nothing to do with Italian legendary singer Patty Pravo. The rumor seems to have been fabricated based on the fact that, in recent months, it became known that Madonna and Patty follow each other and exchange private messages, with Madonna declaring herself a fan of Patty. However, Italian fans definitely have something to smile about. Stay tuned. https://drownedmadonna.com/stories/the-wait-is-nearly-over

You are wrong and I suggest you see an otolaryngologist ASAP because you clearly have some kind of ear infection. Agreed. This would not be one of the weakest songs … many songs on COADF work bc of the intent and flow. Some need to re listen. This would be a perfect opener closer or middle song to a new M classic. People want to compare and complain bc some of us will respond but haters:naysayers go away. This song is a perfect first listen and intro to C2 of the official mix.
DavidJ Posted April 17 Posted April 17 1 hour ago, jackaboo said: A big tease from drowned Madonna on the Sabrina collab Madonna’s collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter, as we interpret it, is about autonomy. It is directed at everyone who has ever felt entitled to define her: the press, the trolls, the keyboard warriors who treat artists as public property. And the industry itself — the machine that has always tried to reduce creative worth to cold metrics, to streaming numbers and chart positions, as if those numbers could ever contain what she is or what she has built. That reductiveness, that urge to contain and define, runs through the whole song — in the press, in the algorithm, in the industry’s obsession with metrics. But the song also feels like it might be looking directly at us too. At the fans. At the people who love her most and have followed every step. Could it be that even our devotion — the expectations, the projections, the vision we have built of her over decades — is part of what she is singing about? It is a question worth sitting with. In Kabbalistic thought, judgment and perception are intimately linked — what you see is shaped entirely by what you are capable of seeing. The eye doesn’t receive reality; it filters it. And the song seems to understand this. It is aimed at the deeper human tendency to reduce what we cannot fully comprehend — to make something vast and living fit inside the frame of what we already know. She has always existed beyond that frame. The song is a reminder that she always will. Running beneath all of this is the unmistakable presence of memory — long, unfiltered, and unflinching. Of secrets, of silences, of things this industry would rather keep buried. She has witnessed it all and survived it all, and she is done pretending otherwise. What drives all of it, though, she makes absolutely clear. Everything — every battle, every reinvention, every misunderstanding — was done for love. We will be hearing this very soon. I’m sorry but I think they’re full of If they had heard it, they can bloody well give us some specifics on how it sounds. Vague descriptions like this just scream click-bait slop really.

Lol it's all word salad bullshit that has no meaning, whatever the song sounds like they can pretend this nonsense was exactly what they were talking about.
DavidJ Posted April 17 Posted April 17 One hundy! Now… Who’s gassed for Coachella? I’m working a night here in the UK so will be locked in live
Ray Of Darkness Posted April 18 Posted April 18 Thankfully I'm off tonight, so I'll have the livestream going. This is the most hype I've felt for a Madge era since MDNA.
