Yes hun we chatted about it earlier in here but the thread is fast & furious today! I hope she is wrong. It makes sense for Madonna to premier the lead single at coachella now the cat is out the bag and the announcement to world on Confessions II has launched ! But who knows? IF she isn’t dropping the lead this Friday it makes me question is she actually going to Coachella? And if she is (please God we need she her after today!) Will she just perform classics and avoid the new single? But if that’s the case that’s a massive missed golden opportunity to not perform & promote the new song! Or the lady at The Sun is wrong !

I managed to see the lower ones again but now I can only see the higher prices. I wonder if they used dynamic pricing?

Many artists do Thursday releases. it would be a little bizarre to do the album rollout with a 60 second teaser of a new song, only to wait another 10 days for an actual release…

IF the song is being released next week, then the performance is merely the first tease. there will be snippets and possibly even clips of the video teased throughout the following week. the only people who will be eager to hear/buy/play the song on friday are sabrina and madonna fans, who will still be interested a week later. it's actually not a bad strategy because the video should really drop on the same day to maximize impact and i can see why they wouldn't want to do everything on friday (song, video, performance) only two days after announcing the album. the album isn't coming until july. they need to tease this out some more. WE are getting hangry, but MOST people haven't even got a clue anything is coming.

After doing ALL the right things today in launching the Confessions II era, to perform the lead single and NOT have it available to stream would be the worst decision ever. Worse than anything Interscope did! Sabrina fans will be looking to stream the track for starters after seeing her perform it, will they give that big a shot next week? , her opening streaming numbers maybe drastically lower next week then they would have been in the immediate aftermath of Coachella. But I think it will be released Friday, it makes no logical sense to withhold it from the public after a big performance at one of the biggest festivals on the planet.

A week won't hurt and, on the contrary, will keep people motivated to listen to the song with the announcement, the single cover, the teaser video, etc.
