Dr Lecter Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Wonder what random releases will be out today for me to bankrupt myself with
peter Posted April 16 Posted April 16 There is a sponsored Snapchat filter — Madonna “Hung Up” … very much Confessions part one-coded.
metalissimo Posted April 16 Posted April 16 I think it's kinda weird that the track listing hasn't been revealed yet.
DavidJ Posted April 16 Posted April 16 2 hours ago, Msig said: Rolling Stone have edited their article since it was first published. It no longer says that "One Step Away" is the lead single The Guardian are quoting ‘One Step Away’ too… https://www.theguardian.com/music/2026/apr/15/madonna-confessions-ii-confessions-on-a-dance-floor-album “…She also quoted from a new song, One Step Away: “People think that dance music is superficial, but they’ve got it all wrong. The dancefloor is not just a place, it’s a threshold: A ritualistic space where movement replaces language.”” So there must have been some confusing press comms behind the scene, right?
Confessit II Posted April 16 Posted April 16 I think it’s 8.30 in the evening in New Zealand now, so if the lead single is to be released today, will it come in 3 & a half hours in NEW ZEALAND
domyeyebrows Posted April 16 Posted April 16 They just did a spot on Good Morning Britain where they said the snippet was from the lead single! Probably an error though.

Probably an error though. The clip sounds like it has been recorded to launch the album era to my ears rather than part of a track. Similar to Madame X and its sound/visual clip talking about all the things Madame X is. Might be wrong! Either way when it cuts out at the end after where it all began I swear I could fall into a rave with my 21 year old clubbing self wear his tank top and hot shorts again and bust some moves that would make the Amazon tribe recruit me as a scarecrow for wild beasts! just sayin

As for the bit where it cuts out - trust me I am ready to flail about the dancefloor like I used to when I was 25, where essentially I was mimicking a woman in her mid-40s (albeit a Macro-biotic athlete).
metalissimo Posted April 16 Posted April 16 I'm wondering if the CD or cassette single of the 1st single will be released. Kylie Minogue single was released in CD in the UK.

I think it's more likely to give the exclusive to the UK tomorrow morning. It's the second biggest market and most likely to get a high chart placing. NZ and Oz only get the first release of remixes added to streaming which are of minor interest to the general public.

Got it thanks babe!
Michael. Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Yeah I’m not expecting for the premier to be at midnight Aus/NZ time. Usually big releases pop up later on a Friday morning here. I have a feeling they might hold off until after Coachella though.

There is none as of yet… the Sun reported that there would be some performances during the summer, but we are imagining those are more promo/pocket shows surrounding the release of the album. A full concert tour might happen later… (All conjecture for now, since there has been no word.)

The press release does confirm the inclusion of a song titled "One Step Away", but it doesn't say that it is the lead single.

Ray Finkle Posted April 16 Posted April 16 In the teaser video, it's written "Track I" before "I Feel So Free". So even though it's not the lead single, it's at least the first track of the record.
peter Posted April 16 Posted April 16 33 minutes ago, Dr Lecter said: What is this Club confessions thing mentioned Product descriptions on the web store… Check the premium deluxe packaging — the one that has the claim check ticket and prayer card tracklisting. It says Club Confessions. It’s just marketing. But ya know … maybe in the future …
Anne Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Club Confessions could be very well the name of the promo tour some insiders were talking a while ago.
Vlad Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Do you guys think it's worth buying just a standard vinyl or a deluxe one? i prefer the standard vinyl versions but it has less songs on.
