It may just be a part of the Confessions promo or Warner taking advantage of the new album to cash in on an old album. let’s be honest, re-releasing COADF without new remixes and unreleased material is not going to generate any buzz whatsoever.

Jairo Posted February 5 Posted February 5 I think with the re-release of Confessions on a Dance Floor on vinyl in March and the Confessions Tour vinyl in April, it would be safe to say that the first single would come out between March and May and the new album in June/July/August.

I think it's understandable that they're waiting for the best release window. At the end of the day, we're just hungry fans that want new music. But the only people who really knows when is the best time to release new Madonna music are, in fact, Madonna and Warner.

I think they're waiting for the perfect moment to release it. Madonna and Warner are surely very confident about the album and believe it will be strong enough to be a summer hit (given Madonna's status as a legacy act and considering she's almost seventy). Not every album needs to be released the day or month after it's finished.
