Unless she’s rehearsing in art galleries or footie games Nah she’s in chill mode. But if she is doing the coachella festival then I’d imagine rehearsals will start end of this month/beginning of March . I’m guessing

That would be fantastic. In which case, the album will come out I’m guessing on Friday 26th June to allow for 8 weeks of pre orders ? Unless they announce the album earlier? But why would they announce the album without the lead single? I would guess the album will be announced for pre orders during the week leading up to the lead single, just like MX was.

That is true. She released DAD a full month before the theatrical release of the movie. To be honest, it will give the song longevity (IF true) to release in April and then be featured in the film rather than a big week and then dropping off the face of the Earth. Which has been a regular occurrence in recent releases with no major promo to support her lead singles after they drop

There's very little substance to these rumors (which started out as wishful thinking months ago), but at the same time I find it hard to come up with a logical explanation as to why she's still sitting on the album. At this point, with Vogue in the trailer, DWP sounds plausible.

I think most of us who assume the album has been ready since last year are perhaps looking for the reason she is releasing in Q2, and I think DWP2 does fit the bill I take the rumour with a pinch of salt because it’s shifted now to becoming the main event and everything is hanging off it. But there are still zero official nods the lead single is in the film so they’ll be mass disappointment when the album takes a totally different tact for promotion.

She's no longer in the studio, she doesn't rehearse dances, and she goes on vacation from Christmas to February non-stop. They've killed the hype.

This is why I think many are hanging on to the idea of the lead single in DWP2 as the reason for the radio silence and releasing the album later on in the year.

I think this is the reason why the rumour of getting the lead single into DWP2, which will have a ton of hype with the general public and massive fanfare upon release, is now gathering major pace. It’s a golden opportunity to get COADF2 involved in something that has massive hype around it, something Madonna’s new album doesn’t outside of fandom. It will need some help.

I think it’s pretty standard for Madonna to post a main post on her IG once a week nowadays ? I think she has been doing this for months and months already. Im not sure she is being advised by anyone to do it especially for the album campaign.

Madonna has made the music she will be remembered for - anything new exposes her to a very nasty and critical world, age aside. Does Madonna feel she is as a legit contemporary of the Bad Bunnies, TS, Gaga's? when we know she simply isn't. Yes, Madonna is a million times BETTER in every way, BUT she is, like it or not, a legacy act with a catalogue that deserves nurturing, exposure, and re-releasing to new generations. If Madonna's legacy was marketed and managed like Kylie Minogue's.. would we even question? The world has changed SO MUCH, I wonder if she realises the extent, particularly surrounded by sycophants and yes men. Imagine if her confidence in the new album was so depleted that she scrapped it. Stranger things have happened.
