At this point I really DONT care about the charts for real.

I think the album will be released between April at the earliest to June at the latest. Regarding Bruno releasing his album in February 27th, he is signed with Atlantic Records which are under Warner Music Group, and since his album will be huge for a few weeks (most likely until BTS overtakes him with their comeback album in late March), one would think M's lead single is coming before late February, around the Grammys or Valentine's Day as rumored, as Warner wouldn't want their two main releases for the first half of the year clashing.

i don't think they view a legacy artist like madonna as in competition with a contemporary mainstream artist like bruno, especially since warner and atlantic are two separate labels (being part of WMG just means they're distributed by the same company). i would hope that they're looking at the entire release schedule to avoid dropping in a busy week, but at some point you just have to plant your flag and hope for the best. which is usually madonna's attitude anyway.

Who cares. The new album would either connect or be gone in 3 weeks no matter if it lands on n1. I d rather it connects like ROL and never be N1

same, but it's much more likely to open big and then fade away, so at least landing a #1 would be a nice feather in her cap.

Totally.

With a bit of strategic planning, WB can avoid a busy week, and with a timetable that’s dynamic with promo/playlisting matched with the hopefully high quality of the goods on offer, a big opening week good enough to nab a #1 album (certainly in some territories) is absolutely probable.

In the end it doesn’t matter, all that needs to happen now a killer lead single that the general public won’t NOT be able to say fuck that’s a decent song actually! matched with a good album will be all she needs for a mini resurgence back to pop music this year that has favourable momentum.

Does anyone remember if Lady Gaga's Abracadabra was preceded by a press release announcing it or did they just show te video in the Grammys break and it went on immediate sale with no previous warning?

I think that could be a good idea for the first single as it becomes a bit of an event and huge numbers see it, released online just after and sent to streaming etc

i still think M would need long preorder time and adverts before any releases

people just dont know if she has any new stuff out, if just suprise drop

There’s no way Madonna is going to surprise drop.

That would get her nowhere she’s a legacy artist and needs a preorder period to gather momentum if we are talking about commercial impact.

exactly, otherwise only diehard fans will stream it and it will "sell" less than Madam X

Now that the (amazing) D&G ad is out…the album is next! Gonna pass out.

Someone asked Dazed the clue in the advertisement related to the new album. Dazed responded “It’s a build up to what’s to come.” (with a smile emoji at the end)

curious how a commercial supposedly shot 10 months ago would include teasers for an album that wasn't completed until very recently. 🤔

I don’t believe it personally.

The album should have been out 2 months ago and we should be on to the 2nd single now.

I think there’s excitement for the D&G campaign (understandably Madonna has been absence for so long in public eye with something like this) that fans are now starting to think it is going to start linking to the album.

Maybe I’m wrong, but like you, I see the projects as totally separate and I don’t think Madonna had put anything into the advert to hint at the album.

as i've said, this campaign will make zero noise outside of madonna's fanbase. i'm very eager to move on to the good stuff.

I hear you.

I agree with you. It will be mainly celebrated and spoken about in Italy.

Everywhere else will be mild even thought it’s great to see her back looking sensational.

On to the main event…..

I also don’t believe Madonna will be singing it during promo for the album (might be wrong!).

Believe what you want. I’m just sharing what someone said — and he was accurate about everything related to the ad.

There’s been some hints that she may speak/sing some Italian in the first single, or that she name drops D&G in the first single etc. etc. I don’t know if those are accurate or not, but, if so, that would be some slight connection between this ad and the next project.

Again — I am not saying that’s accurate, I have no knowledge. Just saying, there could be some hint here or there.

(And just because the ad was shot in March 2025 doesn’t mean the recording of the music happened then. Lots of people have been saying the other Pravo song would fit thematically with the visuals/storyline of the advertisement. So who even knows when the decision was made about the music. It was produced by Stuart, so … obviously in/around the recording sessions with him for the album. Yes, she recorded the Italian song(s) expressly for the fragrance campaign, but she worked with the same producer and along the same timeline, so … it’s not like Stuart and M were completely unaware of what else they were working on.)

I appreciate you bringing it to our attention babe!

We shall see if there are any links to the album from the advert….

All we can do is speculate 😘😘😘

Madonna’s done tons with Stuart this last year, Untold Chapter & now D&G alongside the album. There might be some similarities in terms of production, that would make sense.

How much further it goes beyond that, I’ll be intrigued to see.

yeah, that makes sense given those other hints you mentioned - i just assumed it was a visual clue and not in the song itself.

I assumed the same!

A visual clue as it wasn’t made extremely clear what the clue might have been.

We shall see but I anticipate album information in the next few weeks 🥳🥳🥳

Perhaps it’s the other way around? Maybe something that happened with shooting/production of the ad gave her an idea she wanted to bring forward within the new LP.

This is how we ended up getting GMAYL, so pls don’t let them.

maybe the other Patty song is in the album?

I wonder if she'll have something moody like that on the new record. The original COADF was a wall to wall banger fest so it might be interesting to have a more mid tempo track to balance with the possibly energetic tracks.

Missing piece: he mentioned a few days ago names of fashion houses, starting with “Dolce”. Since he teased some Vogue references on the lead, maybe a new rap with those names could be part of the song (that was a theory on MInfinity).

I'm not interpreting this as there are clues in the ad. The guy is simply stating what it is - it's a hype buildup for her, getting her in the news hopefully, a reason to also mention and build up hype for the new album.

Someone on Reddit has posted the album is coming in June

And that she is doing a collab with a big app to promote the lead single.

Also, you never know with her team, but the fact that we are now well past into Friday, and they haven't fixed the October date for La Bambola and it hasn't been added to the radar playlists, nor Madonna has made a post about the actual cover so far, just for the ad, feels like it kinda confirms they did deliberately because the lead may be coming in the next few weeks.

every time it's floated that it was done intentionally, my eyes roll back into my head because i can't decide what's worse - the idea of them doing that intentionally or it being a mistake that still hasn't been fixed. i'm still leaning toward the latter because "hiding" a new release for that reason makes Z-E-R-O sense.
