Untrue rumours, jumping to conclusions and premature ejaculations about the new album

Love coming back to this thread after a day away and there is all of this new information. This is one of my favourite periods with an album, when the rumours start to solidify into something that seems tangible and believable.

Interesting that she’s potentially sampled Vogue. With other producers, I’d be sceptical but I trust Stuart and there are so many elements of Vogue which could work amazingly.

Not a huge fan of the comparisons to Hung Up and Vogue though. I feel like it sets us up for disappointment. Just tell us it’s a banger and let us decide! Making comparisons to previous work always seems reductive but to be fair, I suppose a Vogue sample invites those comparisons.

I agree.

I don’t believe ANY insider has say and listened to Madonna’s lead single.

I think there will be only a handful of people OUTSIDE of Madonna, WB & Guy who have heard it, Madonna’s BF, maybe her kids and 1 or 2 VERY close friends.

That’s it.

I think the insiders are getting second hand information from people who HAVE sat and heard it, and telling us how it sounds based on that.

Which is fine, but comparing it to one of her biggest ever songs is certainly confident !!!!

it's inevitable that more people than that have heard it, especially since we're supposedly less than three weeks away from the ad and/or the single release. if the song is indeed being use in the ad, then even more people have probably heard it than usual - editors, sound mixers, etc. if a video has been shot, there are probably dozens more who have heard it, from crew to background actors to visual effects people. and all it takes is one of those people to describe it to a friend or relative and then it's out there. 

the only way to prevent that is to go to unconventional lengths, like taylor swift, who shoots videos with earpods playing the song in her ear. but even then the technical people and dancers will still have heard it.

but it’s Christmas week so I think everyone will be celebrating ready to unleash lead single & D&G campaign after NYE.

I think Madonna & Stuart have done an incredible job at keeping everyone under wraps.
