So the Lindebergboy user also knows the title … Wonder if it’s the “Heart of Gold” fans have been guessing based on the yellow heart emoji… And, building on that, the hint is that is also the album title (or was the working title, subject to change). Interesting. 8 minutes ago, RoyalMadonna said: Gotta be related to that yellow heart emoji then.... right? both Dazed and ragazzo were using the emoji? just one of them? Dazed was definitely using the yellow heart emoji, and also was the same user who posted the white/gold (blue/black?!) dress meme image.

I’m not on PopJustice either, but based on what many have said in here on what I’ve read elsewhere about the insiders, it is appearing now Ragazzo is following in the exclusive footsteps of other insiders like Dazed. I was thinking, if the song is something about love then that does kinda fit with the D&G The One perfume campaign, as it’s a romantic pair of fragrances for him & her. Kinda fits the narrative only it’s a club song.

Yeah, Dazed even made a veiled comment about someone reading their posts — it was after Dazed had said the mixing of the album was happening (which was just before Madonna posted photos “in the stu with Stu” so it was a bit of a scoop of sorts), and then Ragazzo said the same thing. In terms of timing, it did appear Dazed shared the news first, and Ragazzo jumped on that (perhaps). Interesting that Lindebergboy’s posts were kind of overlooked for a while (they date back some months, apparently). Sounds familiar, but I didn’t recall everything — I may have missed some because I’m not a member over at Infinity, either. (I saw your earlier post — I was more focusing on the “title” part than the “club driven” part. Since the beginning of the post was just a fragment, not a full sentence, I didn’t know what it was in response to. Thankfully robster kindly filled in the blank for me, and now it makes sense.)

I just imagine it has to be worth it — she must have really liked an idea Stuart had musically (perhaps something from his setlist work for Celebration Tour that she decided to “save for later”?) … I understand what you mean, though. Seems funny, because she sort of complained about Diplo wanting to re-use bits of Vogue during RH recording — and then she allowed Kanye to interpolate it into HW, and let Diplo use the chord progression (in a very heavy, brassy form) of Holiday at the end of Nas’s feature in VVV. (AND furthermore then sampled the fingersnaps of Vogue with Mirwais for IDSIF…!) It’s just funny — she seems to resist it, but then goes there anyway. Of the Vogue samples, I love D&D the most. (Wait, are you counting Vogue itself as the first time, then D&D, then HW, and then IDSIF? Or am I forgetting another self-sample of Vogue?)
Confessit II Posted December 19, 2025 Posted December 19, 2025 I think Holy Water/IDSIF are the only true samples of Vogue she has used though? In D&D she just sang in the same key a few lines from it, so not a sample really. But I’m just being precise !

Putting to bed any recent rumours they have had a falling out about the UC EP? Maybe? PS - I don’t believe she’d need Shep’s permission to use it. It’s her recording (as the artist), she shares co-writing credit — as long as he is credited as a songwriter (or compensated with a licensing fee, though that seems over the top for this situation). The discussion surround the UC of Bedtime Stories and Shep’s “permission” had to do with the fact these were unreleased songs previously. So the publishing splits for royalties weren’t necessarily determined and settled back in 1994. (And although LWW wasn’t released by M, it was released by Gary B so those publishing details would’ve been settled in 1997 or whenever it was…) I’m not saying I totally believe the idea there is a huge rift between M and Shep. It does seem pretty clear they may not have “bothered” Shep in retirement about the whole UC project, given the audio quality on LWW. And since there were no other Shep demos being included, it invites some speculation. But it’s not like she has made a habit of refusing to sing any Shep co-writes on tour, etc. For which, when those tours are released as recordings, he’d see some residual payments. Doesn’t seem like there is enough “bad blood” there from what we can see. But who knows? Perhaps only M and Shep. Maybe Tony Shimkin, too. Haha!

D&D is an interpolation, because you are right — she is not using the original recording of her own song there and dropping it onto the new recording. But I was assuming that Bretticus was counting that one. I was trying to figure out if I was missing one.
Anne Posted December 19, 2025 Posted December 19, 2025 Yeah, he means he knows the name of the lead single. Also regarding the sampling of Vogue, thinking about it, in Hung Up she already was referencing herself with the Love Song's lines, so fingers crossed she and Stuart did it in a clever way also this time. But everyone who seems to be in the know is raving about the song so we'll see.

Right. lol. My math is rusty! Yeah, I don’t really count the Beyoncé remix, either. That’s more Beyoncé sampling M — almost like a feature, but there’s no “new” sung content in it from M, so “sample” seems the best term. Then M used that remix for the Celebration Tour… Thanks for clarifying, though! Sorry I was overlooking the obvious “fourth” instance. Haha!

Haha! i'm still not convinced there was an issue with shep. i believe it was ragazzo (?) who said the other demos were deemed to be too dancey for the laidback R&B vibe madonna wanted for this release - and the presence of those two hip-hop-oriented remixes of "secret" and NH (and the total absence of the beloved junior remixes, particularly BS, which is the quasi-title track, the artwork for which is used in the booklet) adds a lot of weight to that theory. 4 minutes ago, Bretticus said: If true this new one will be the fourth, but then we also have the Beyoncé one but we don’t count that! i was about to say the same thing about the queens remix. it was definitely on her mind since they used it on CT.

Yeah, tend to agree. Seems like some unnecessary drama being imagined by fans. Doesn’t seem to hold up under scrutiny. Or else it just lacks evidence for the time being, anyway. (The Tupac estate would be more likely to have caused an impasse than Shep, in my opinion, anyway.) Agree also that the selection of the remixes and the overall tracklist seems to have been intentionally highlighting the hip hop vibes.

Prayer85 Posted December 19, 2025 Posted December 19, 2025 Wow, it seems like it's closer than ever! How exciting! And in any case, if it's in the perfume commercial, I think it'll also be available for streaming and download. Because, as you said, people listening to it on TV and radio commercials will search for it on Shazam or similar. Otherwise, it wouldn't make sense.

Maybe it will be released on January 9th alongside the commercial, but don’t forget, Madonna played the instrumental of HU in a Motorola advert weeks before HU actually came out. She could absolutely do it again. But more & more insides are now saying January for the lead single, so who knows? Maybe in 3 weeks time we will all be streaming the new single !!!

Did the American press go to town on it? I have a feeling she has spent so much time in London this year due to the new album, I think she will return to America next year, aren’t the twins in school in NYC?

But ironically, Billboard will no longer be counting YouTube views for their charts starting from January so it's not like now she needs to release both song and video at the same time to maximize the chart performance: https://www.billboard.com/pro/youtube-announces-intention-withdraw-data-billboard-charts/ That also their new rules where they downsize the numbers of streams to count as an album sale will make even more difficult for Madonna to score and mantain top chart placements there. Morgan Wallen will end up with 100s of weeks at #1 on the album charts going forward.....

The insider Dazedmadonna, apart from using the Vogue video as a reply to other member asking about the lead single, also posted this on MInfiny a few days ago that went kinda unnoted while talking about the song: "I didn’t post Vogue for no reason after all, that 90s house string/bass/synth combo is essential!" And then, another user there, Lindebergboy, also has been posting the following messages since September without receiving much attention until now: "The album is 99% finished. Originally planned to be released first week in November with lead single in October. The release date being postponed and pushed forward." "No, Warner don´t wanna have the same roll out as previous albums." "I would take some of these rumours with a grain of salt. Completely untrue. You´ll get both lead single; better than 'Hung Up'(/you can call it a strong twin sister to one of her biggest hits without it being just a copy ), and album sooner than you think." "This forum is hilarious. Now all of a sudden you believe the rumours of her sampling herself and a couple of weeks ago some of you were laughing. Well, well..." "The title of the club driven lead single. Gonna be huge and instantly a classic Madonna hit. She ain't playing this time. She's out for blood and your hearts. New working title of the album, most likely now the final name of her album. Very Madonna. Makes much sense. All new material. No cover. Seperate project. 80's/90's/00's house samples. I strongly question the George Michael and MJ rumours. She's sampling herself and stuff that's not so overly predictable. Announcement after New Years Eve. New single January." all of this is making me WET. I love those times just before an album when it's all rumors, speculations and imagination. It's been 7 years!! The only think I don't like reading is the whole "better than hung up" thing, cause obviously it won't be. Hung Up is a top 5 M song. Also a Vogue sample... she has done that to death already. But it can work. I am so fucking ready for NEW MADONNA MUSIC aaaaa
