Thinking about release and promo windows, I can theorize that…

- Teasers: Late december or early january

- 1st single + MV: mid-january

- Performance at the Scammys

- Special album release show by the end of February (probably at The Sphere on Feb 28th or Mar 1st, which are the only residency-free dates on that venue).

- Album Release + 2nd single/MV

Just for fun and for the love of the (delulu) game lol.

Why is my wishlist opening this thread? I'm shy lol.

You’re also gorgeous & that wishlist looks like an iconic great way to kick off the new album campaign 😍

Wow.

She really is going for the kill and Madonna & Stuart have seriously done their research. Chicago house is one of the early origins of house music.

If she samples something from modern Chicago house era from Frankie Knuckles the vibe of this album will be just be an insane dance earworm 🫠

She said she wanted to make a house album in her Q&A didn’t she…..referencing Chicago House is the best record I could ever of hoped seeing on her IG story.

This is exciting. 😊

A few months ago, a DJ whose name escapes me posted something about a Frankie Knuckles track calledYour Love being the inspiration for a brand new track by "our dear mother" - or something to that effect. And he's featured on that album.

Too much of a coincidence?

I'm wondering if Stuart field tested the instrumental versions of some of the new songs in clubs around the UK/US/Europe to gauge people's reactions (hence the DJ's comments).

Your Love is an earworm (at least to these ears), and the thought of a Stuart-produced song sampling it...WOW. Probably not lead single material, but what a treat that would be.

I don't find Your Love to be that great tbh. Where Love Lives on the other hand is one of the greatest dance songs ever. I'd love if M sampled that instead.

The comment from the MInfinity user that y'all are talking about (it was from some months ago):

Quote

Here in NY, helped out at an art event where they played the following songs; and the DJ said, “I’m playing these cause this fall you all are about to hear them in new light- by our dear mother, did I say too much? (then he laughed)”.

I hope he wasn’t joking, I hope he was referencing Madonna (I’m 90% sure since I know a few more details) yet I noted the songs he played.

Your Love- Frankie Knuckles

Move Your Body- Marshall Jefferson

Overdose- Tomcraft

French Kiss- Lil Louis, The World

Anyway; thought I’d post. If I’m speculating into what he said too much- then sorry. But thought I’d post this just in case!

Curiously enough, let's take a look at names on the album M is holding:

Also, user Dazedmadonna from the same forum (whom have been sharing interesting clues and seem to be reliable over there) posted the Vogue MV when asked “can you share anything about the album, its quality, first single, etc.?“

Take that as an indicator of what you want 👀

Thanks for the comparison of the list of songs mentioned vs the vinyl sleeve — looks like two out of four in common…?

That same user you mentioned above actually beat Ragazzo to the punch about notifying the community that the album was at the mixing stage… And I found it interesting that, when asked pointedly about whether this was reggaeton, gangster, weed, Weeknd Madonna or not… Dazedmadonna said Weeknd was one of his favorite artists, so I don’t think he agreed with lumping all those musical references together… BUT… most curiously, he responded:

She’s a classy lady this time. Meltdown postponed.

So … make of that what you will. Take it or leave it. Just sharing, since it hasn’t been reported here yet.

As far as speculation goes, after the story with the album cover and that user's comments, this might actually be the closest we've ever gotten to figuring out the soundscape of (at least part of) the album.

Which makes the role of the additional producers both a bit puzzling and exciting, I guess?

I'd love it if it were the bassline and piano riff of Marshall Jefferson's Move Your Body.

hopeful the album leans more house than disco this time.

It would make perfect sense as a part2 to do that, continue down the decades and progressions of dance.

I agree so iconic and the piano rift is one of house musics ultimate prayers for clubbers everywhere 🤩

From Ragazzo:

I know anticipation is running high, but the wait for the first single is almost over. And what a single it is. I give you my word, it exceeds expectations.

I’m fully aware that recent releases have sparked mixed reactions, but I can assure you that this time she’s about to bring everyone together, fans and non-fans alike. The album is a gem. It feels like dancing to new Madonna productions infused with the spirit of Shep Pettibone, Chic, Daft Punk, the Rock Steady Crew, Frankie Knuckles... all blended into something entirely her own.
(And to be clear, this does not reveal any specific samples or featured artists.)

Finally, I want to apologize if the tone of some posts has occasionally shifted. This account is a team account, and several people may log in at times. But the guiding principle behind everything shared here remains the same: goodwill, excitement, and positive anticipation.

...

And one small update while we’re at it, the album is expected to be released in early April.

...

It’s true that the wait has been long, but honestly, had she released an album earlier, say three years ago, it would have been an entirely different record. Much more urban, and almost certainly shaped by a different set of producers.
I genuinely believe the timing worked out exactly as it should. This album was meant to be made now, not at any other moment.

...

There’s a section where the Chicago classics are front and center. It hits you instantly. Should you feel the urge to move your body, don’t be surprised, that’s simply the nature of the beast.

Omg so they're “confirming” that the account was run probably by her team?!

🤣🤣🤣🤣 oh Ragazzo

Dropping a few names in there that are producers/remixers of the very same album Madonna shared yesterday !!

Alvaro, not sure there are multiple people involved. This person has a very peculiar writing style.

I don’t think he/she/they are saying that hun.

They are saying this account “Ragazzo” is a team account on PopJustice and several people may log into it at any time.

It’s not a confirmation it’s several different people in Madonna’s team

Basically confirming there must be multiple insiders that have access to Madonna’s album so they are all logging in and giving us different updates on PopJustice about Madonna’s new album.

Agreed, but people will want to still talk about their hopes, etc. Perhaps someone can rename this as "Untrue rumours, jumping to conclusions and premature ejaculations about the new album"

Ragazzo is no Oscar Wilde, but they are very descriptive I’ll give who they are that!

I find all the statements word salads anyways, and always regurgitating what Madonna has just posted on her own IG mixed in with common sense of the recording process & what had already been discussed within fandom but with a big word count.

Plenty of get out of jail free cards are in Ragazzo insider information as well, phrases like things can change are often there just in case 😉

Early April? So 1 single should be out #soon

Interesting that Shep Pettibone is even mentioned :chuckle:

Thanks for clarifying guys.

I find it strange that a group of people would share the same confidential information. But even stranger that they’d choose to use the same account on a music forum, as if they were the digital team running social media for a brand. I don’t know, doing that on something as niche as a music forum is… peculiar.

It would be more plausible if Ragazzo were known for sharing information in different artists’ sections, but since it only happens in Madonna’s section, it feels odd to me.

That’s why I thought maybe it would make sense if they were coming from inside M’s team. Just a theory. 😛
