Gabriel Ciccone Posted October 21, 2025 Posted October 21, 2025 Madonna starts following Rafael Pavarotti. Maybe a new shoot is coming. He photographed Beyoncé, Rihanna and Addison Rae https://www.instagram.com/rafaelpavarotti_/

And he makes amazingly striking images!
AlvaroLiam Posted October 21, 2025 Posted October 21, 2025 Judging by his content, he has the eye to capture an “iconic” pose for her album cover. I'm in, hope it happens.
cardiganstarlet Posted October 21, 2025 Posted October 21, 2025 She looks good, although the bleached eyebrows don’t work. Which is interesting she chooses that look considering how meticulous she wants to present herself. But sorry, the rest of the imagery/props is a bit “seen it all before”.
AlvaroLiam Posted October 22, 2025 Posted October 22, 2025 If you want to be fed by the rumours, listen to the music on Rafael Pavarotti's latest IG posts. You're welcome.

Just a coincidence.

Rafael Pavarotti shot the Chanel spring 2026 runway look, which used Rhythm is a Dancer as the soundtrack, those runway videos were all over the internet the week the show debuted with the new creative director.

Oh, that explains it then. Thank you.
peter Posted October 22, 2025 Posted October 22, 2025 I read, though, that she’s also following someone who works for Dazed magazine, and that this photographer, Rafael Pavarotti, also has a working relationship with Dazed. Speculation is that perhaps there is an editorial photoshoot in the works for Dazed. (We saw something similar happen before the CR shoot, yes? I mean, obviously she already followed Klein, but the magazine editor she followed shortly before the Funeral Rites project was unveiled.) In any case, hopefully there will be some shoots and interviews to promote the new album. Perhaps this will be one of them. (Not necessarily the album cover… Still think that might be Mert + Marcus.)

Rhythm is a Dancer is an absolute clubbers classic. It would be a nostalgia dream for an entire generation as well as introducing the track to a brand new audience.

I disagree, the brows look great.
Vlad Posted October 22, 2025 Posted October 22, 2025 Rhythm is a dancer feels a bit overused to be used like Abba's sample was, I don't know if it will make much noise if it's true. Could be fitting since the rumour by some is the album is called Algorhythms.

I hope it's not true either, because: 1: It wasn't a massive worldwide hit or as recognizable as GGG was 2: I didn't like upon release and still don't now. Never understood all the fuss over it, tbh.

I would love her to go down the Brat / Pink Panthress marketing strategy and make a remix album reinventing all the songs with different artists and producers - much how we wanted or she envisioned Veronica Electronica to originally be ....
Confessit II Posted October 22, 2025 Posted October 22, 2025 Just now, Vlad said: I would love her to go down the Brat / Pink Panthress marketing strategy and make a remix album reinventing all the songs with different artists and producers - much how we wanted or she envisioned Veronica Electronica to originally be .... I would also adore a remix album. It sounds like a brilliant project for her to do, especially as the new album will be a dance record. But it depends how long Madonna intends the new era to actually be. Remix albums usually come out at least 3-6 months after the original album drops. Usually by that stage Madonna is winding down the promotion of an album and going out on tour. Who knows what she and WB have planned for next year, but it would give the new album longevity for sure and be a cool way of introducing some brilliant new remixers/collaborators to the album.
Vlad Posted October 22, 2025 Posted October 22, 2025 Agreed - would be cool though and hopefully some collaborations or projects outside of the album - in the 2020 we've had 3 unreleased songs so far, 3 collabs for an old song / new remix, 2 underpromoted singles, and a bunch of remixes for Vogue Hung Up Levitating Sorry and Material Gworl (little to no original content). The 10s and 20s feel very small in comparison to the other 3 decades where we'd get a single or song a year at least.

But it was HUGE in Europe, but so was Doctor Alban and I always classified SNAP in the same group.

The ABBA rift was featured massively in Hung Up, it was up, close and personal throughout the entire song. SNAP were huge business over here in Europe as you say, but it did peak at #5 in America and was a staple on dance floors throughout the 90s and into today. I think it would be a great choice but I agree, ABBA is as a much more mainstream sample than SNAP would be, but I think if the new album is released exploring different aspects of dance music then it’s a genius choice because it encapsulates so powerfully the sound of early 90s club life.
luizotaviobarros Posted October 22, 2025 Posted October 22, 2025 Not crazy about Rhythm is a Dancer, but it was humongous in Brazil. If Stuart does it right, a lot of people might connect to the song immediately. But it's all speculation at this point - like pretty much 90% of what we've discussing these past few months.
