Look at friggin NJ and VA upcoming Governor races. They're both actually super close in the polls and these are both blue/light blue states. Should NOT be even semi competitive if you were to look at these 'mass protests' and the sustained hellscape of the last 9 months. So... ya. Just afraid what we're seeing are mostly the most vocal keyboard warrior types on X etc...who decided to 'come out' & ARE legit pissed but when it comes to *voting they don't lol or just stay home like they did for Kamala & Hillary. Sadly, given our system, and current setup with who gained power, when you have all 3 branches of government, and one side operates antithetically to the very tenets of democracy, then nothing can happen. The party out of power literally has no power. And the other side is making sure of that in every insidious way they can. In actuality, lots of Democratic reps are loudly pushing back against Trump and the GOP with what little they have. Not saying they certainly can't do better (the party is in the shitter, and needs a complete overhaul), but this idea that they all completely disappeared just isn't true. Also, it's not all about politicians - plenty of us regular folks, like the 7 million+ (and far more) that showed up on Saturday, are as aware, vocal, and fighting back as ever. We haven't disappeared, and are never going to. Quote

I mean the whole east wing ballroom is completely illegal, it’s funded by his billionaire buddies. almost everything he’s done has been illegal. they just don’t care.
