If the first single is already selected and finished (mixed/mastered), she could be working on a few more album tracks, perhaps inspired by what she feels about the world since she last posted herself in the recording studio in February. But agree that it is less likely now. First single could still be out in 2025 with album in early 2026.

Personally I think the album is on its mastering stage, and I still think it has a chance of coming this year.... Cause to me the pics of her in the studio is like celebrating all the work in the studio cause it's been wrapped up.... I'm aware I could be totally off, though, but some pics do seem to be the same as some older ones from a few months back, no?

I’ve just done a comparison on her IG page to her last studio post in February, they all appear to be brand new pics with Stuart in the studio. I have checked on Google at the press reporting on it…… But I can’t view stories they only last 24 hours

Madonna has only been in the studio twice with Stuart this year. That’s not a lot. Unless she’s been secretly travelling to London without posting it or Stuart has been doing tons without her being present……that’s not a great amount of studio time, is it? She is doing in here and there it’s not solid studio time

It’s not necessarily that she only heads into the studio on a whim, when the mood strikes her. She is working with Stuart — he may have had his own schedule and commitments, too, after all. So both of their calendars have to accommodate the recording sessions — especially since, as I understand it, the studio is in Stuart’s home. Which is great and more comfortable for them, and probably less difficult to book than a commercial recording studio. But still — his availability factors in, too.

She had a listening party of RH stuff (likely unmastered/unmixed) way before the whole album was finished. Mert posted a lyric from Inside Out … she can be working on visuals even if she is finishing up album tracks.

She's been working on it more than she has posted about it. I'm certain lf that.

Also artists often go back to tweak new albums even after the first single drops and based on its reception...albums are even delayed or just dropped like Justin. The rules are few nowadays. She phoned in Levitating and Champagne Rose so anything is possible.

(I do recall reading that she insisted on having her vocals re-processed … I think by Mike Dean? The Blessed Madonna told the story about M wanting to refine things after it was mixed or something like that. So … sounds like she was involved in the process, at any rate.) Champagne Rosé, on the other hand, was literally phoned in. I think they said she sent them the hook after recording it on her phone and that’s what they used…?

I think that was just before the July 4 weekend, and she clearly had a gathering that weekend and posted pics from it. So it’s possible that’s what she meant — had a few days off for the holiday and then back to work. I imagine she may take some additional time off surrounding her birthday, as she often has a celebration.
