I think a lot of it actually depends on what she is in the mood for over what record label wants because she has recorded this album off her own back. Usually, all her albums lead to a tour. Her albums are released in conjunction with a tour announcement/ticket bundle deal. If that’s NOT happening with this new release, how far will she promote it if a tour isn’t the goal? Or is she going to tour it? I assumed she wouldn’t due to the BIO commitments, I would love a longer promo campaign but maybe she’s done with those by this point. If she did sign with a new label for this album then they would expect a certain level of promo from her…..mind you, so would Warners. you're making a lot of assumptions here. there's no indication that she paid for the recording of the album. there might be a deal in place. and there's no indication that the bio series has moved forward or if there's even a script, who's writing it, etc. so there's no reason to think there isn't time for a tour before production starts, or if she has any "commitments" to be involved in it. i expect the usual promo: print interviews, making the TV rounds, maybe some live performances. it really depends on how the album comes out and how passionate she is about it.

Very true. But based on what we know Madonna isn’t in a current contract to deliver a new album and she has decided to record one herself. I might be wrong, she might have signed with Warners last year for a new album and it’s all been kept quiet. Her record contract details are often made available to us hun…..so I base it on that. We knew she signed/renegotiated with Warners/started Maverick Records in 1992 for new music. We know she left Warners, and signed a new 3 album deal with Interscope in 2009. We know 4 years ago in 2021, she returned to Warners to reissue her back catalogue but no new music was part of that return. I agree, she might have signed with Warners last year for this new album with Stuart, but that has not been made public. Who knows? After the last year of mishaps and nonsense from the legacy campaign I wouldn’t be devastated if it isn’t Warners representing her new material !

Might as well record YouTube videos singing from her house. That would have more impact than any awards show these days.

Only reason any artists does award shows nowadays is for the write ups/exposure and clips that hopefully will go viral afterwards.
