Thousands dead in Mandalay how scary

 I saw the news a few days back, but I thought nbody died. I mean, the news here were more about the swimmimng ppols in the hotels, and one old building collapsing...

it´s sad, it was o  the news for 30 seconds, and that´s it.

On the other hand, that means that they don´t have oil, rare metals...so they would live a peaceful life

It is a shocking tragedy.  Earthquakes are a cruel, awful and destructive part of mother nature.  The devastation and loss of lives is heartbreaking.

It was on the news a lot here. Strange was only on the news for 30 seconds elsewhere.

They couldn’t even find all the dead bodies because the scorching heat made the task more difficult.

I’ve just read the news. I’m so sorry for anybody who has to live through that kind of nightmare.
