Jazzy Jan Posted April 19 Posted April 19 Trump is so far up Putin's backside, that he will support him over a democratic country like Ukraine who is supposed to be one of America's allies . Trump is sickening beyond words and as everyone knows and keeps saying, Russia invaded Ukraine. How the American public can put up with having a president siding with Russia over democratic allies is shocking. Quote
promise to try Posted April 19 Posted April 19 but are the US citizens really thinking about these things? I mean, about Ukraine, about the impact of the tariffs in the third world? about the deportations of people that are legally in the States? it seems to me that they really don´t think about it. Only if their economy goes south will start complaining. Quote

Sadly, based on what you see online, a significant chunk of the US population seems to be very self centered so unless it affects them directly they won't care. Quote

SOON Posted May 26 Posted May 26 “Surprised”? Trump: "I'm not happy with what Putin is doing. He's killing a lot of people and I don't know what the hell happened to Putin. I've known him a long time ... we're in the middle of talking and he's shooting rockets into Kyiv and other cities. I don't like it at all. I'm surprised." Quote
sotos8 Posted July 17 Posted July 17 Zelenskyy: I believe Trump can end this war. Trump gives what we really need: full sanctions and a real deterrent weapons package. Biden gave partial help. That’s the difference.1/ pic.twitter.com/wjHrIPG59M— Tymofiy Mylovanov (@Mylovanov) July 16, 2025 Quote
Raider of the lost Ark Posted July 17 Posted July 17 ^^^ He is saying these things in an interview on Newsmax, which is part of MAGA propaganda. He tells the audience what they want to hear. Their dear leader is so amazing and Biden = bad. Full sanctions? The threat to impose (some) sanctions in 50 days? I doubt it is gonna happen. A weapons package? Is he talking about the patriot system that will be paid for by European countries? And just a short time ago the U.S. stopped arms deliveries to Ukraine, something Trump claims he was unaware of but hasn't fired Hegseth for doing something he pretends to not agree with. Zelensky here is just doing what all (foreign) politicians currently do, tell Trump and his audience what they want to hear. And the best thing to do so, is by blowing smoke up Trumps ass. And much of this turns into downright trolling. I mean, the German chancellor presenting Trump his grandfathers birth certificate in a picture frame. In a golden one, of course. Peope wonder if there was the royal decree to kick him out of Germany for failure to report for military service on the backside. Is this supposed to mean he was a coward? Well, it was probably about bone spurs. Quote

Raider of the lost Ark Posted August 16 Posted August 16 Well, seems all the experts were right when they said such meeting will bring no results and Putin is merely doing it for propanda. Next, experts will be right about tariffs because they are now kicking in, except for Chinese goods (which would be a disaster for US consumers), warehouses with goods bought before the tariff mess are almost empty. It will be interesting to watch Trump and his crew explain the rise in prices and subsequently a higher inflation. I suppose it's gonna be: "but Biden, and especially Obama, Barack Hussein Obama". I think Vladimir Putain is the biggest winner of this meating. And even tough they have said nothing is decided, I´m sure the rare lands will be given to USA and Russia, and of course, Dombas and the rest of the lands too... Quote
acko Posted August 17 Posted August 17 Thank you America for laying out the red carpet to receive Putin. Bravo. Quote

Jazzy Jan Posted August 18 Posted August 18 Trump makes me physically ill. What a corrupt, stupid, dangerous idiotic man. Putin has him wrapped around his finger and all Americans should be ashamed that their president is siding with a Russian mobster who invaded another country illegally. Quote
promise to try Posted August 18 Posted August 18 and now all the european presidents are going to fly to US to talk with Trump again? really... Quote

I really believe that both have a plan for ukraine, that doesn´t include what ucrainian people think, or their interests. basically, the east for Russia,+ crimea, and the weird lands for both countries. They only need a puppet in charge of ukraine to make people believe in the country that that´s the best for them, and that is going to be able to handle the country...+ somebody that has to say the european union to shut up Quote

SOON Posted August 23 Posted August 23 President Trump had news he was excited to share with reporters in the Oval Office. He had just received a photo from Vladimir Putin of the two of them from their recent meeting in Alaska. As he spoke, Trump wore a red hat that said “TRUMP WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING!” Trump said he planned to autograph the photo and send it back to Putin. Read more: https://nyti.ms/3JLqC7m Quote

What a pathetic figure. it has to be difficult for them. I mean, they thought they were important for the world, and they are not. And of course, each of them has their own internal shit that nobody talks about enough. by the way, why are not all the presidents going to talk to him? how do they choose who goes and who doesn´t go? What a pathetic figure. Unfortunately EU has wasted decades relying on USA military/nuke umbrella. Germany was really in a fucked up situation: occupied till 1990, with US forces, with a huge guilt for WW2 and a population not really keen on remilitarization. This ambiguity was well played by the USA who didnt want to loose influence in Europe. Now we are stuck with Trump who turned the tables and has almost left EU without military protection. Its no wonder why EU has started rearming. Hopefully the rearming would result in EU countries buying European produced arms at least!!! France is totally right about this. Quote

Raider of the lost Ark Posted August 30 Posted August 30 Europe, the EU, has been way too naive dealing with the U.S. and Russia. Even too naive when it comes to its own or possible future members of the EU. Looking at Poland and Hungary. The mindset has always been, that every party involved is striving for a common goal to make it better for everyone. That's why you have the EU unanimity principle. That there might be members to abuse the system seemed foreign to them. The same with Russia. "Change trough trade". Worked out great in the end. And the U.S.? Have always been in it for themselves. The "protection" of European Nato members was merely a byproduct of their real interests, which was the Middle East and Africa. Europe, the E.U., needs to make a 180. Make all the investments in military to kick out the U.S.. And yes, have nuclear weapons. Purely as deterrence. Look at Ukraine. If they had kept the military arsenal of the former Soviet Union, Russia would have never invaded. Fun fact: the U.S. did sign a security agreement to protect Ukraine in exchange for Ukraine giving up on those weapons. Since certain parties no longer respect treaties and agreements, I think other agreements should be honored anymore. Germany is not allowed to develop, built and own nuclear weapons, as agreed in 4+2 treaties. I do believe my country should ignore that and do exactly that. Quote
