I think Mirwais and his contribution to Madonna’s discography is phenomenal. But i think by this point it’s exhausted. If there are any extra contributions to the new album I would prefer she gives Weeknd a call again.

As I say, if M & Stuart want to bring in some other elements, for me if they can get Weeknd in the studio for some time I think that could produce some added magic to the finished product

One thing I will say in defence of Mirwais and his work on Madame X is that I think that the use of vocoder is taking an incredibly unfair amount of blame for what really should be directed at the GRILLZ instead. It’s the fucking grillz that add the muffled mumble effect that’s the most heinous atrocity of the production and we all know who’s fault that is…and then you put vocoder on top of vocals delivered through grillz? without the grillz everything would’ve sounded MUCH clearer and crisper, including those vocals receiving the vocoder treatment.

Oh I absolutely agree! I mean it can clearly be heard in God Control and it sounded incredibly odd but I think the use of vocoder in general needs to be retired in M albums. Hopefully she has got over the GRILLZ by this point as well!

And the grillz, I just can’t if they’re still there for the new album…two albums with grillz vocals is already two more than we ever needed. Like gurl, take your craft more seriously than that please.

It's likely a lot of darker topics, both political and personal will come up in a confessional yet dance album. Could be like MDNA going from darkness to light.

I think the Confessions part will apply to the tone of her lyrics. I really don't expect a COADF Pt.2 sound wise. Whoever does, may have their expectations shat on.
