He is as reliable as Donald Trump on saying anything for attention. She has stayed clear of him as much as possible throughout so there’s no way I believe she would tell him anything about what she’s recorded

Yes, of course they were working on the tour, but they were also working on new music during the Reinvention tour too. That is true and I agree Madonna has been in full creative mode for several years now. It’s also been the longest time she hasn’t been in the studio creating an album, something she did consistently for 35 years. It must have been a shock to suddenly stop. Personally, I believe the bio film took centre stage after the contract with Universal expired. We all know she has tried and tried again for the last 5 years to get it off the ground….. She returned to Warners of course to reissue her back catalogue and took her legacy on the road and we got FEL. I think somewhere last year after the tour ended she decided to make an album again. I think it was a decision that came following the tour wrapping and the rejections of the film. Had the film have been agreed to be made we wouldn’t be getting the album. But I don’t think the album was decided upon any earlier than last summer post-tour.

(Here’s hoping we get more of that in these future special editions!!)

But I appreciate the song was levitated to a more upbeat sound to be cohesive on COADF.

I definitely think of the album version as a bit of a remix by Stuart… I remember a friend of mine, after hearing the demo version, had a lightbulb go off… She said the album version made more sense after hearing the demo. Can see that. I just miss her chorus from the demo which Stuart cut out for the album version. It’s like he used a bridge for the chorus. But I really do like both — and I also like Stuart’s actual remix that was included on the Get Together maxi-single.

I take what Andy said with a pinch of salt anyways we all know he loves to gossip. But halfway through sounds great, 2025 with a release of Bedtime Stories, the EP with extras and a new album and new era is amazing. I doubt we will get any of it until the summer at the earliest. Since it's Andy I take it with a pinch of coke.

Honestly, it may be that she just wanted a fresh start. But I doubt she would ever give any info to Andy Coke-hen. Especially if she was on the verge of announcing something to the world about it. She would never inform him of that.
