Iconic Fetus Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 I don’t know about that Romy tracks because those two mentioned above kinda sound from the early 10s like an Ellie Goulding song or like a remix of a song (kinda reminded me of the WIFLFAG remix), also Stuart was a coproducer along with Fred Again and other one so it’s not 100% his work there. He did Love Again, Hallucinate and Levitating and those are good Dua tracks, maybe Levitating was the link to Madonna since Dua mentioned COADF as inspiration and then Madonna jumped on the remix. Freak Me Now and Free Yourself from Jessie Ware are good and have that funky/Pharrell sound that M had in HC… And he has worked with PSB a lot and from the last albums, Dreamland is amazing, I would hope that kind of sound for M. Hopefully the tracks with Honey and Arca are real, and Max Martin is a wildcard, he did a great job co producing the last Ariana album but also the last two albums with Coldplay and The Weeknd are disposable… Hopefully no featurings and no Mike Dean!!!!!!

I love that idea!
Rain Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 I reckon there will be some features. The Weeknd again? Pabllo Vittar? Charli?
Pieciolot Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 I couldn't be happier with the news. The best Christmas present ever.
cocolattee Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 a shorter, cohesive, catchy but with an experimental edge concept album with on-point art direction and no features would be my dream but I'll be happy with whatever comes ^_^

sara Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 Need another The Weeknd collabo. Their voices harmonize so good together
toujours Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 What a nice pre-Christmas news from Her Pop Eminence! Just wanna hear new Madonna music. Recapturing the COADF magic with Stuart would be a bonus. Won't mind another Abel collab/ streaming smash. Or a Sabrina (though not a fan of hers) feature since the pop girl reminds me of the cheeky, sensual '80s Madge.
GOD Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 When do we expect this album? and will she tour in 2025/2026? If so, you better save your Pennies from today young ladies.
toujours Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 Further, I feel that it will be a deeply emotional record---in the vein of LAP and BS, two of her most nostalgic and saddest albums---in view of her recent personal sufferings. So, I'm ready for it!
robster Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 I think it will be a mixture of melancholy and heavier themes mixed with lust for life, celebrating and energy. Her health scare will definitely pop up in some form, the relationship with her family (father, stepmother, and brother) and her chosen family. And possibly certain social themes she feels passionate about. She has 6 years to reflect back upon this time. I wonder which other collaborators are going to show up in the final tracklist. and to what extent previous work is reworked. Another thing will be if she will go for a traditional release schedule, she's not signed to a label right? What impact is that going to have on album campaign, promo, physical releases etc. It's going to be an interesting album for many many reasons.

I would imagine Warners will be used to release it and organise the album campaign and promotion. She is back with them after all for reissues and they are as good as any other record label to promote her at this point ! I doubt she won’t use a record label to release it…..I think she will need record label support rather than just dropping it online herself …..?!
pithy Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 Echoing what's been written, it's been a while since there's been this much for her to tackle regarding subject matter. Life has bloomed into so many new seasons since she last wrote an album - she's had a lot to mine for inspiration. I think and hope the themes will be mature and mostly weighty, even with the songs not all being somber. She is frequently great at chaining introspective, serious lyrics to upbeat productions. I believe she can pull off something stunning.

Crux Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 Kylie fans are something else. According to them Madonna is copying Kylie's idea of a sequel. I wonder if groups like Led Zeppelin know Kylie did it first. What do you think @Confessit?
