Since the 70s were a big influence on her when she and Stuart last worked together on Confessions On A Dance Floor I wonder where her influences will come from this time? The 80s? Ooh she could reference her own early LPs, I'm already excited as to what she'd look like! Xx

New album next year means a tour next year?

i have a hard time imagining she would go another big world tour so quickly. maybe in 2026? i think she'll more likely do a mini promo tour or some club dates. especially if it's a dance album.

late 80s/early 90s would be amazing. based on the songs she's been posting on social the last couple of years (inner city a lot) and things she's said, i think that might be the era.

Oh I do hope so. I'm already thinking up album and song titles! Lol. I'd call it The Testimonies of M or I Shall Bear Witness. (I need to find a hobby!) Lol

Well Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to us!! This is the best news we've gotten since the tour announcement! I can't wait to see what they cook up this time, twenty years 🤯 after COADF! Although she's not quite as predictable these days in regard to her timelines, typically, it's 1-1.5 yrs from the time she officially announces she's working on music to the time of it's release, so maybe fall/winter 2025-2026? I'd love it to be earlier but not holding my breath for that. If not earlier, then Oct-Nov next year would be good.....I miss having her drop new albums in the fall!

Stuart is still looking fine af!! And way off topic but didn't she wear that cardigan/sweater in the early 00's and in IGTTYAS??

I hope she puts a song about her brother Chris on whatever new LP she's working on. Her ballads are beautiful. When he passed away in October she wrote about him so movingly and said Somewhere I Know You're Dancing and I thought that would be a great title for a song about him and their relationship.  X

I think you're right! And if so, this would be glorious!! I feel like on each of her albums, there's a song that sort of predicts the sound of her next album so perhaps IDSIF (and some of it's remixes) are that predictor for M15.

I'm OVER THE MOON

Finally some amazing news to look forward too !

Suart has treated us with amazing orchestrations last years + his DJ set as an ouverture was nothing but amazing. He's fire as he has always been.

Madonna is coming!!!!! CELEBRATING

The lyrics that she posted on one of the “blurred” pictures seem to talk about him.

She always tours after album releases. I think the album will be released around June - September 2025.

yeah, but she's never preceded an album release with a hits tour so i think we're in uncharted territory. if you're right that the album comes second half of 2025, i think a tour in 2026 is very possible.

This time, after The Celebration Tour, things are different. She's under a better light in the eyes of the audience, and I've seen a resurgence in the interest of younger people.

Let's organize and make this era/campaign a success for us and her! Can't wait for the listening party here in MNation (just make sure you don don't do it with your vinyls like last time 💀💀💀)

I thought the same thing about her sweater!! I was gonna say — the argyle cardigan looks familiar and just feels right when she’s around Stuart in London!

And Stuart does look super cute with her! Have missed him!

(PS - :kiss2: :brenspin: , Kurt! :inlove: )

I'm literally crying for joy. I thought Madame X was legit the end of studio albums.

Agreed, and, as others have said, it appears perhaps this may be the case.

Was thinking — and other fans said this, too — I think maybe bardo mentioned it before me — the RH demo for “Never Let You Go” feels like it might be emotionally and thematically similar to some of what she wrote about Christopher. (Perhaps she will tweak it with Stuart and include it on this collection… Although I hope for all new material, of course! But maybe a bonus track or a B-side or something.)

There was also the reference to All of Us Strangers, which, thematically deals with grief and family, too, so it’s possible she may have multiple songs that process her recent loss. (I know the movie impacted you deeply, too, Paul! And PS :brenspin: and :kiss2: to you!  )

Let’s hope she gets a better label to distribute and market it

interesting that the background color of the header on twitter/x is red!  just sharing, because you never know if it's a clue in relation to new music🙂

edit: never mind, she changed it to a standard grey color.

YES! This is so exciting! I was missing the feeling of waiting for a new Madonna album. Now let's just hope it doesn't take until December 2025.

that resurgence could be even bigger had they released a few of the reissues over the last three years. it was the perfect time.

In a way it explains why the reissues (if there are any) have been backburnered. She's focused on new music. Which I can't say I'm unhappy about.

I do wonder where the Bedtime Stories release figures into this, though.

What a great end of year gift to us!

If she's been working on it basically since the end of the tour, I'll wager some kind of spring/summer release.

maybe no tour this time because of the bio pic

remember 'something's coming' post we all thought it was about reissue of bedtime stories, i mustve been about this new music....

but she hasn't been focusing on new music for the past three years. this has been the longest span between albums (assuming this will be an album) of her career so it was the perfect time to release the reissues. finding the answer this has become my all-time #1 "what would you ask madonna" question.

Prior to new album work she was on tour. Prior to that she was sick. Prior to that she was knee-deep in trying to get the bio-pic off the ground and working on a screenplay. And before that she had given us the remix album.

Not defending her lack of attention to the reissue campaign, but it's also not like she was sitting around doing nothing these last few years, either.
