But she looked phenomenal, the choreography is sublime, and it works effortlessly against the 4 minutes beat. Amazing performance that worked a dream in a stadium!
Steve Posted January 21, 2025 Posted January 21, 2025 not related to new music...I have been to every tour since DWT and my least fave hands down is Madame X. I make no apologies for my opinion as I really like the album, have much merch and saw one of the first tour dates.

Her last proper “live” sound was DWT because the drums, percussions and bass were mostly or sounded mostly analog and well-mixed with the rest instruments and her voice/vocals. I do prefer Stuart as the musical director than all Mortley Crew of failures who came after Confessions.

I have to add that besides the sound being great (no Kevin), good vocals and visuals, there was something so human and honest about it. A celebration. aside from a few songs, it was also very simple. it works. And it gave us a great remix.. (which is unfortunately almost forgotten among fans).. the Hollywood remix looking at it again makes me emotional..

There's just no stand out performances of any of the classics and no really great reworks. They're all just ok. With MDNA you have Vogue, confessions you have Music and Hung Up etc. I mean in the context of other artists they're still great shows but they just lack something for me in comparison to M's other concerts.

DWT is definitely dark but there are lots of fun/light moments! "Beautiful Stranger," "Ray of Light," "Don't Tell Me," "Secret," "La Isla Bonita," "Holiday, "Music." And I can watch the first two segments over and over.

"hung up" is lyrically pretty dumb but COADF has some very serious, introspective songs.

Noooooo … I understand what your are saying regarding RIT but in DWT you have the whole Geisha segment. Only with Paradise not for me and Frozen are pure art !
