It appears there’s work going on for new music & Bedtime Stories re-issue based on what Madonna herself has teased in recent months. But I would imagine a new album will take first precedence?

That means Klein, Luigi and Iango, and Mert and Marcus are all orbiting closely these days. Wonder who will really shoot the album artwork and/or videos…?! (Well … although we haven’t seen him … I assume Jonas Akerlund is in the background, too, if he is involved in the editing of the Celebration Tour film. I think I mentioned — a friend of mine in NYC works with someone who is “friends” with the videographer who was on stage with M for Celebration — I think his name was Courtney or something like that? Anyway, heard “through the grapevine” right after Rio that the videographer was working on the tour film, so … who knows if that’s a collab with Akerlund or what the situation is. Makes sense that the tour videographer would be well familiarized with everything — her preferred angles and everything. I remember some shots in the Rio livestream that missed the main shot, etc. I mean, not being critical — just remember that some of us remarked on it at the time. Love that we got it, and it wasn’t “hyper-edited,” but it also had some moments where they’d obviously missed the moment, etc. I know Jonas was more “in charge” of Mexico City filming, right? Maybe not as much for Rio…? Anyway — my main point was just that, not sure if Jonas Akerlund might be hovering around, too — although he might be too wrapped up in the tour film to take the reins for a music video…? And he’s never shot album artwork before, whereas the others listed above do both photography and video work…)

She said new music in 2025. 2025 means November and December, as well I incline to think that nothing is ready in the near future if all these meetings, calle she’s done, are probably for a new era.
runa Posted January 21, 2025 Posted January 21, 2025 From the time she starts posting about a new album and the day it sees the light, I think we should expect a minimum of one year. Having said that, time changes, maybe she has another vision in mind to surprise us. I wouldn't be surprised if she recorded new songs with Stuart during the tour. Who knows?

The intro is brilliant and probably my favorite M tour interlude/visual. interestingly, when I talked with other fans, pretty much every young female fan named RIT their fav (and many didn't see it) yet online I almost never hear someone mention that tour.. from what I remember, everyone loved this tour at the time.

Everything was fantastic. Her best vocals. Like A Prayer with Siedah Garrett. Susan McLeod / Into The Groove. The Holiday / Music Sounds Better Remix. Lament. Don’t Tell Me / Bittersweet Symphony. I could go on. I don’t get the negativity at all. I think that people didn’t experience the show themselves live. The price for the worst arrangements / mashups definitely goes to all the shows where Kevin Antunes was musical director, first and foremost Sticky And Sweet. The low point of her career.
