Sanctuary1995 Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 Just reading and watching news recently, that people are not really prepared for things that happened in Ukraine in 2022 or natural disaster in Spain recently. Our very own Mark Rutte, the NATO director says that we need to be alert and prepared for unexpected events, like a military attack. I was thinking of purchasing all the necessary things to survive the first few days of some unexpected disastrous event... as much as it hurts me to even entertain that thought: emergency kit with food, water, radio, toiletries, etc. Just saw a report that in Finland, for example, they are completely ready to face such stuff with like 6 months worth of flour and underground bakeries, etc. Your thoughts? elijah Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 Russia could attack a NATO country and start WW3. I could totally see it. Quote

Putin loves to throw out the threats. He is a dangerous man and Russia has an appalling human rights record. But I do not believe Putin would ever attack a NATO country let alone with nuclear. It would be the absolute end of Russia and he knows that Quote
Nikki Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 It is probably a good tactic to instill fear and we need it to work, so the threat won't become real. Ukraine needs all the help/support it can get. with trump's America not being much of a help anymore next month, other countries need to show even more support but I think we should always be prepared. promise to try Posted December 15, 2024 Posted December 15, 2024 I think Trump os not really a NATO lover, so I guess They are trying to show that they are necessary making us scared of really bad situations...but yes, we should by some food/water/batteries...what are you going to have at home just in case? I only have food for the dogs!!! Quote
horn Posted December 24, 2024 Posted December 24, 2024 When there's a war, there will be weapon sales. Hence there cannot be world peace. Quote
