KalamazooJay Posted April 7 Posted April 7 Again, those of us who have seen through his bullshit for the last 10 years - and even before that - have known he's a fake business man and celebrity who's bankrupted dozens of ventures, screwed over contractors, and is a total fraud. He has no idea what he's doing and is clinging to this tariff bullshit out of stubbornness and nothing more. There is no plan. There's no end game. The ONLY thing he's ever been good at is creating chaos with anything he does. It's the low the income voters who bought into his garbage during the campaign that will suffer the most and as I've stated, my sympathy well has been tapped dry. So let them pay even more for their goods and services. I really don't give a fuck anymore. Maybe this is what it'll take to for them to finally open their eyes to all of this MAGA nonsense. Maybe some financial pain caused by their fearless leader will make them see he's never been on their side and used them for votes and nothing more.
VictorMarques Posted April 8 Posted April 8 Wow, what a suprise! Trump installing chaos and destroying world economy. If only was just the US economy...
SOON Posted April 8 Posted April 8 Books on the Holocaust, histories of feminism, civil rights and racism, and Maya Angelou’s famous autobiography, “I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings,” were among the nearly 400 volumes removed from the U.S. Naval Academy’s library this week after Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s office ordered the school to get rid of ones that promote diversity, equity and inclusion. The Navy late Friday provided the list of 381 books that have been taken out of its library. The move marks another step in the Trump administration’s far-reaching effort to purge so-called DEI content from federal agencies, including policies, programs, online and social media postings and curriculum at schools. In addition to Angelou’s award-winning tome, the list includes “Memorializing the Holocaust,” which deals with Holocaust memorials; “Half American,” about African Americans in World War II; “A Respectable Woman,” about the public roles of African American women in 19th century New York; and “Pursuing Trayvon Martin,” about the 2012 shooting of the Black 17-year-old in Florida that raised questions about racial profiling. Michael. Posted April 9 Posted April 9 It truly blows my mind that this is what the US has devolved to. Like it is so fucking dumb and so ridiculous that it’s hard to even believe it is real life. What is even worse is seeing the how much republicans, trump supporters and the media are normalising what is happening. Social media is filled with declarations of the USA is back. The USA is winning. Everything is perfect and amazing. The rest of the world is horrified.
ULIZOS Posted April 9 Posted April 9 Biggest useless bitch in the world who accomplished nothing except for sending the global markets into an unnecessary frenzy.
ULIZOS Posted April 10 Posted April 10 If you want to get infuriated, I recommend checking out this interview.
Raider of the lost Ark Posted April 10 Posted April 10 I am not sure, Trump knows who he is dealing with China. What if China simply decides to block all export to the U.S. in response to those tarrifs? This will disrupt the economy of the U.S. big time and it will hurt American workers and consumers. They will be forced to buy American again and get a feeling what it means to buy American. It's so much more expensive. That said, it's not even clear you can get an American alternative. Of course, it will hurt China as well, but China does not think in a timespan of 3 days like Trump, they think of what will be in 5 or 10 years.
SOON Posted April 10 Posted April 10 The official White House account posting shit like this all the time
SOON Posted April 10 Posted April 10 Nothing says “fiscal responsibility” like taking from the poor to give tax breaks to billionaires … and buying more tanks. https://x.com/popbase/status/1910366887269068929?s=46&t=nVM3A9JQ856GgygehDHrrw The U.S. House of Representatives just narrowly passed a Republican-backed budget plan, which proposes deep cuts to programs that support low and middle-income Americans. Key components of this plan include: • Major tax cuts primarily benefiting the wealthy • At least $880 billion in cuts to Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act • At least $230 billion in cuts to food assistance programs such as SNAP • $175 billion in new funding for mass deportation efforts • A $175 billion increase in military spending

According to a quick search, “in 2023, approximately 2.9% of China’s GDP was directly linked to exports to the U.S.” They’d honestly be fine without us.
Jazzy Jan Posted April 10 Posted April 10 I am just horrified at the USA government under Trump. Every single thing he has been doing is beyond disgusting Add obvious insider trading to the latest list which is yet another criminal offence. Politicians and billionaires buying stocks while ordinary Americans lose so much in this ridiculous dangerous yo yo trade war chaos is sickening. Trump tweeting to buy now is a crime. How can this be tolerated by the courts, the media and the American public ? The rest of the world is looking on in disgust as the USA is turning into a fascist, authoritarian, lawless, cruel and crazy place. I wonder if Americans fully realize how America is now being seen from the view of Europe, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Asia, South America etc. I feel so sorry for the Americans who did not vote for him as they have been betrayed by their fellow Americans who voted for this evil idiotic man and the people surrounding him.

I do too. And those people who did vote for him after Jan 6th, his Covid response, his conviction in court, his constant lying, his display of imho dementia … fingers crossed these hardships will hit them extra hard. Granted, the tech bros and billionaires won’t give two flying fs, although one never knows, but working class Americans might … just might feel the burden the next time they shop at Walmart.
ashtangi74 Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Why is that lunatic still not impeached or removed from the White House? And those crazy Mf-ers who voted for him and who still support him just need to go.
IsaacHarris Posted April 15 Posted April 15 I’m GAGGING @ Bill Maher’s 180 on Trump He was ‘mind-blown’ at how ‘easy it was’ to converse with Donald, as if a charlatan can’t behave himself for a 2 hour dinner.
