HolidayGuy Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 This title should pass 100,000 next week. For W/E 5/6, it scanned 1,375 units, bringing its cume to 99,374.

thebigham Posted May 12, 2007 Author Posted May 12, 2007 Great. Maybe WBR will now certify the DVD Platinum? lol...
HolidayGuy Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 WB is even worse with video certs than audio. Girlie Show still is gold, The Video Collection hasn't been certified gold or platinum, and TIC is stuck at 3 platinum, when it should be at least 4 platinum.
thebigham Posted May 12, 2007 Author Posted May 12, 2007 Don't forget ROL video single and WIFLFAG DVD single...
HolidayGuy Posted May 17, 2007 Posted May 17, 2007 Wild guess, but I'm thinking it passed the whopping 100,000 plateau this week.
HolidayGuy Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 Interesting tracking: TCT tracks twice, as an album and video (like IGTTYAS did). The album's tally is listed as 101,779, while the video is 95,243. Now, we know that there is no album-only release in the USA (for either IGTTYAS or TCT)- so, odd. Ahyhoo, almost 102,000 for TCT in the USA. It sanned 1,031 W/E 5/20.
HolidayGuy Posted May 24, 2007 Posted May 24, 2007 TCT drops 31-40 in its 16th (and possibly final) week on the Top Music Videos chart.

Guest Beautiful Stranger Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 To sum up The confessions tour to date sales are near 200,000 copies in the US ? No. It just crossed 100,000. But for some reason SS tracks it twice with 2 different totals.
HolidayGuy Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 I haven't gotten an explanation yet, but I am thinking that the higher total includes digital/iTunes, while the other doesn't- only thing I can think of...
thebigham Posted May 31, 2007 Author Posted May 31, 2007 TCT is up 7 places to #33 in its 17th week on the Top Music Videos chart.
HolidayGuy Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 I didn't expect that move- wonder if there was an increase, or if sales just dropped across the board. It needs 3 more weeks to tie DWT's run on the chart...
thebigham Posted June 7, 2007 Author Posted June 7, 2007 TCT is down 3 places to #36 in its 18th week on the Top Music Videos chart.
HolidayGuy Posted June 12, 2007 Posted June 12, 2007 For W/E 6/3: The Confessions Tour scanned 927 units, bringing its cume to roughly 103,730.
Guest tir69 Posted June 12, 2007 Posted June 12, 2007 Someone has any idea how much copies sold The Confession Tour around the world ( cd/dvd and dvd only ) since now ?
Nightshade Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Billboard Music Videos: 36-37 (-1) Definitely holding on...
HolidayGuy Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 Yes- 19 weeks and counting. Will it match DWT's 20-week run? Stay tuned...
Nightshade Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 Yes- 19 weeks and counting. Will it match DWT's 20-week run? Stay tuned... Answer: No. It's off the Music Video chart this week (in Billboard). I imagine it could very well re-enter after Live Earth or with the new album promo (down the road).
HolidayGuy Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 Following Live Earth, The Confessions Tour re-enters the 7/28 Top Music Videos chart at No. 35- by doing so, it matches Drowned World Tour's 20-week run on this chart.

HolidayGuy Posted July 20, 2007 Posted July 20, 2007 TCT probably won't reach DWT's sales level for some time (if it does), but it's a slower sales climate, so all is good.
