Madame X: Album Discussion

Recommended Posts

Billboard (producer) confirms he plays drums on different Madame X tracks, so looks like he is only doing additional production.

Also revealed how he came to work with M for RH. Dr Luke recommended him for Ghosttown after he turned down M's offer to work with him.

Where did this info come from? Did he give an interview?

Dr. Luke rejected working with Madonna?!?! WOW. Wow. Sad. Can’t believe anyone in pop would say no.

Yes.. "I will survive" can be described as an anthemic song for LGBT community.

The term "anthemic" doesn't refer to tempo.

The Cambridge English Dictionary defines an anthem as "a song that has special importance for a particular group of people, an organization, or a country, often sung on a special occasion."

An anthemic song is a song "that has qualities that are suitable for an anthem, such as a strong tune and a serious feeling."

Born this way considered to be anthem by some😐

That pic doesn’t seem like it informs one that the song is a ballad

To be fair, “Keep it Together” and “Oh Father” had the same pic!

Not in the US. It was the French who went with that same pic.

Worth sharing here, too, because she talks about writing Medellín and the process of creating the album.

Fabulous interview I want to hear more about the album making process - we need a long detailed nerdy magazine interview before the album is released !

who the fuck in their right mind would think it's a good idea to hire not only someone with such bad pr going on, but a guy who writes such trash generic music? and he actually turned her down? that's like Anita saying no to her. gosh.. what a fucking joke.

Watched this again. So very interesting to watch and hear M talk about being an artist, preparing for the performance and where she gets inspiration. We see the thoughtful human being. Could listen to her all day.

Could she actually be talking about CRAVE rather then Medellin? I think so. Medellin doesn't have Starrah writing credits, only M+Mirwais+Maluma. Crave has Starrah in the credits.

From DrownedMadonna:

EXCLUSIVE: Crave is the 2nd single from Madonna’s Madame

EXCLUSIVE – We at DrownedMadonna.com are excited to reveal that Crave is planned to become the second single to be released from Madonna’s Madame X album. Crave is a very cool and eclectic dance track. Someway, Medellín is like a set-up for the big single. Crave is indeed even a stronger single than Medellín.

We don’t have to wait too long for listening to it, because Crave is one of the 4 selected “pre-sale” tracks that will be available before Madame X release. Precisely, Crave will be available next week, on May 10th, 2019. Crave (feat. Swae Lee) is written by Madonna Ciccone, Khalif Malik Ibn Shaman Brown and Brittany Talia Hazzard.

You think Crave has a video? Could it be the drag queen one or maybe she pushed that one back?

I don't like the fact its a featuring again. But if its a great song I wont mind. Who the fuck is Swae Lee? OMG, he is an ACTUAL SINGER, not rapper!!!! OMG. I m living for it! Crave MUST BE GREAT.

Love this:
