that's the wrong mentality. "old people" BUY RECORDS.

Madonna fans are tech savy enough to download the album illegally. They arn't tech savy enough to stream it.

Oh and to buy it? They'd rather spend the money on Kylie Deluxe Editions or Bjork/Kate Bush re-issues.

Maluma seems to be at Conway Studios in LA & M is in London, why would he record his part in LA & not in London with M? makes so sense since all of M's previous collaborations were done when she was present in person.

Lauren Delia is in LA at the studio where Maluma is at though....

So if he can't be London, why not bring the studio/mic/vocal tech to him in LA?

She doesn;t need  a new demographic, She just needs to reconnect with people that love her

Agree with this.

She must have the widest demographic of fans among any living artist already. Sure make some new fans along the way but not at the expense of the actual music and creating “flash-in-the-pan” naff collabs (eg 4 Minutes).

^ 4 Minutes isnt a "flash-in-the-pan" anything. Its the collabs after that are weak. Since 2009 her collabs havent been as strong as 4 Minutes and thats part of the problem. I dont have a problem with Maluma but it needs to be a great song. Not BIM or GMAYL level (which arnt bad but not incredible).

How do you know she is in LA?

No one knows. Someone posted an old photograph from the beginning of March that was on her instagram demonstrating she was in the same studio in LA that maluma is currently in and they’ve gone stirred up yet another mess of confusion where fact is blended with fiction ... and now here we are with people thinking Lauren is currently acting as vocal producer in the studio in LA with maluma for a featuring on Madonna’s new album...

The aversion for current music by a certain type of members, around here, is frankly disturbing and really shows a lack of knowledge and curiosity. This is quite sad, coming from Madonna fans.
As much as you can appreciate "underground" music, it's ok also to appreciate mainstream music.

And when you talk about "downgrading" her music... downgrade compare to what ? You own conception of what is good ?? Well, sorry to tell you, but it's all subjective.

Complaining about a collaboration when you haven't heard anything was, is and will always be dumb and idiot.
