Lmao he said it again today "I am the least racist person..believe me"! :doh:The news has been playing that SAME line he's used like at least 10 different times over the last 2 years. Many are already saying this is his "I'm not a crook" from Nixon. That verbal tic "believe me"! WHENEVER he's bullshitting.

Was he white? I know you guys are going to get mad at me, but only a white heterosexual male feels entitled enough to speak in such a “i have no idea what I’m talking about but here’s my opinion that’s based on absolutely nothing, and don’t you dare question it.”

I know a white gay guy from Florida who's a Trump supporter. But I rarely speak with him about politics. In fact, I've been avoiding him lately because a minority supporting a POS like Trump is embarrassing

Kind of off topic but I can't bring myself to watch the revival of my favorite sitcom ever, Roseanne.  I am sorry but there is NO WAY in hell the old school Roseanne would EVER be a Trump supporter on the show like she is in the new episodes.  Feels like a slap to the face.

Where did this Roseanne go!?  Going toe to toe with the crazy bigot Ted, and now she is a Trump supporter just like him!  Has her brain been taken over?  So depressing.

Apparently, she wanted creative control on this reboot and they gave it to her thus her current stance she made her character into a Trump supporter.

Roseanne's definitely had issues over her entire life. She flip flops on everything and even her show her character became a man-hating, listens only to herself, mean spirited woman after season six. I don't know how the reboot will do but the writer says it's a main theme this season and apparently Jackie and her fight over it.

Which I think it ll make it all more interesting. I love the show as I used to watch it as a child so I never understood the social/political themes that were comuniticating but I thought it was fun af.

Maybe we ll see the usual outspoken Roseanne become one of those Trump loons while Jackie will be more reasonable and be totally opposed to it possibly even be a fervent Democrats and Hillary supporter. It’s hard to say but I’m bearing in mind how the show completely went shitty in the last couple of seasons. I think 3-4-5 are among the best. Then it all became pointless with having loads of babies around; winning the lottery and become multimillionaires and still living in the same house!; Dan cheating/being found out and divorced and ultimately even dying. It all became like a stupid soap opera and they completely lost focus. It became boring and uneventful. Obviously that’s my opinion. Still I’m looking forward to watching.

She is now a Trump supporter in true life as well.

You are right @dylanciccone_  She flip flops all the time and often rants and seems unhinged.

I can't bring myself to watch it then.  The Roseanne Connor and the Roseanne herself that I grew up with would never vote or support someone like Trump who is a selfish, money grubbing, womanizing snake oil salesman nationalist that shits on golden toilets.  The very thing she used to stand against.

I mean this is the woman that grabbed her crotch and then spit on the ground after "singing" the national anthem for crying out loud.

Guess we won't be seeing Arnie on the show. Sad indeed.

Good for him.

It kills me.  Aside from Roseanne and her own views it's a total slap in the face to the character we grew to love.

It would be like All In The Family coming back in an alternate universe and suddenly Archie Bunker is a pro Obama socialist.  It would be like, "What!?"

Well Tom Arnold was apparently the reason why the show went so well for the first few seasons until the divorce/she took over and began demanding things her way. According to him, she wanted the Connors to win the lottery as early as season 3. Talk about ruining your own show. Even though this a Trump thread, ugh, I love Roseanne and the person she was. Her show was amazing up until her character took on a complete character change in late season 6.

Seasons 1-mid 6 are the best with the rest becoming so mean spirited. Especially the abortion themed episode where Dan and her son DJ try to console her and she lashes out "It's in my body!!" "Don't tell me how to feel!"" I get it, a woman's choice but when both tried to comfort her and show support she lashed out and it later became a man hating fest to where Dan became a background prop, Jackie became a clown, her creative control began to reflect her own feelings (resentment towards men) but also progressive issues like including more LGBT characters.

Tom Arnold rightfully dragged her out for her bull. She was such a champion for the underdog and to see her supporting the likes of Trump is insane but she's suffered with mental illness before. There's an E True Hollywood story documentary about her on YouTube I believe where her own sister called her out on her lies after Roseanne accused their father of molestation.

Okay Trump is absolutely stalker NUTS with Obama and Hillary!! :sick:

Second, Rosanne has also gone bat shit cra cra. Always was but at least used to be likable and was def more of a Bernie progressive. Could def see her always being anti Hillary but the fact she's fully on the derailed demented Trump train says it all. I remember the 'turning point' at least for me was that bonkers, blabbering/ rambling interview she did online during the campaign in 2016 (it's somewhere on You Tube). Forget if it was when Trump already clinched the nomination or before but she was like 20 inch nails on the chalkboard and just sounded like a crazy, angry, drugged up manic old nasty Trump supporter.

Tom Arnold is also kind of nuts and was a cokehead but I do believe what he's saying. the best years were DEF when he was on. The writing, directing, chemistry etc...was almost flawless. All that said, I will still watch the reboot. I loved the show and am def curious like most of the world will be.

Watching American politicians cheering and applauding Trump with so much fake passion is sickening to the core. The GOP have no desire to get rid of him and instead crawl up his backside for a smile.  Have to us that famous phrase to describe it as it sums them up. No backbone, no ethics and no compassion.

How can this arrogant orange fool keep getting away with the absolute crap he tweets ?  People from the UK should be outraged at how he keeps falsely speaking on their behalf.

London (CNN)Donald Trump's habit of testing the US relationship with Britain took a new turn Monday when he attacked the UK's National Health Service, claiming it is "going broke and not working."

The US President hit out on Twitter minutes after a segment aired on Fox News that highlighted winter strains on the UK health care system. Trump accused Democrats of pushing a similar universal health care system for the US.

The Democrats are pushing for Universal HealthCare while thousands of people are marching in the UK because their U system is going broke and not working. Dems want to greatly raise taxes for really bad and non-personal medical care. No thanks!

"The Democrats are pushing for Universal HealthCare while thousands of people are marching in the UK because their U system is going broke and not working. Dems want to greatly raise taxes for really bad and non-personal medical care. No thanks," Trump wrote.
Trump drew swift condemnation from Britain's Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt, who has been under fire for the government's handling of a winter health crisis that prompted a protest march in London at the weekend.
Tweeting back at the President, Hunt said he was "proud" of Britain's universal coverage, which allows patients free health care at the point of access.

I may disagree with claims made on that march but not ONE of them wants to live in a system where 28m people have no cover. NHS may have challenges but I’m proud to be from the country that invented universal coverage - where all get care no matter the size of their bank balance

"I may disagree with claims made on that march but not ONE of them wants to live in a system where 28m people have no cover," he tweeted, referring to the 28 million people in the US who lack health insurance.
"NHS may have challenges but I'm proud to be from the country that invented universal coverage -- where all get care no matter the size of their bank balance."
Asked about Trump's comments, a spokesperson for UK Prime Minister Theresa May said she was "proud" of Britain's health care system.
"The prime minister is proud of having an NHS that is free at the point of delivery," the spokesperson said, adding that NHS funding is "at a record high" and was prioritized in the fall budget with an extra £2.8 billion (about $3.9 billion.)
Trump, whose relationship with Britain and May has been punctuated by Twitter tussles, was also criticized by opposition Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn. "People were marching because we love our NHS and hate what the Tories are doing to it," Corbyn said, using a colloquialism for the Conservative Party. "Health care is a human right."

Wrong. People were marching because we love our NHS and hate what the Tories are doing to it. Healthcare is a human right.

    Strained relationship

It is not the first time Trump has caused anger in the UK with his tweets.
Last month, Trump said he would apologize for retweeting a series of posts by a UK far-right group, saying he didn't know who they were at the time.
